24.01.2022 Fully supported, 3-day, leisurely, off-road bike tour on the beautiful Brisbane Valley Rail Trail from Yarraman to Ipswich. Cycle the entire 161 km rail trail in a small group of 20 with our experienced guides. All events are compliant with the Industry COVID SAFE PLAN for Outdoor Recreation Activity Providers.... In addition, COVID-19 social distancing will be maintained on the 40-seater coach and rooms can only be shared by couples or friends willing to share a room. Queensland’s Great Adventure Rail Trail follows the disused Brisbane Valley rail line that commenced construction at Wulkuraka near Ipswich in 1884 and was completed at Yarraman in 1913. The Brisbane Valley Rail Trail winds its way down the Brisbane valley, traversing farmland, forests, picturesque rural settings and country towns. Being on the old railway line, the BVRT provides easy gradients for cyclists. Starting at the northern end, the general trend is downhill with a few uphill sections. Programme: Day 1: Yarraman to Moore mostly downhill (49 km) Day 2: Moore to Esk via the new section (45 km) Day 3: Esk to Wulkuraka Station: (67 km) Price includes: Two nights accommodation in one convenient location at the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail Motel in comfortable, shared rooms. Buffet Breakfast on Sunday and Monday morning at Nash Café in Esk. Lunch at local cafes in Moore, Toogoolawah and Fernvale. Morning tea at the historic Bellevue Homestead in Coominya on the Monday. Dinner on Saturday and Sunday evening at Nash Café and Esk Grand Hotel. All transport for people and bikes provided by coach and bike trailer. Very experienced BVRT guides, including certified first aiders. Self-drive to Esk or contact us (0417 34 28 54) if you require pickup at Ipswich Train Station ($35) Bike hire NOT included. MTBs and e-MTBs can be hired from Out There Cycling. Participants must be reasonably fit and capable of cycling up to 65 km off road at a leisurely pace. The BVRT is suitable for mountain bikes, gravel bikes and hybrids. but mountain bikes are the most comfortable. Brisbane Valley Rail Trail Users Association reserves the right to postpone this tour in the event of adverse weather conditions or other such factors that could affect the safety of participants. $850 per person. Cancellation fee $55. Full refund if event is postponed due to bad weather or any other safety reason. Maximum 20 persons.

Well, we have some exciting news The Esk Jockey Club have kindly provided us, as race sponsors, a table of 10 and we would like to offer it to one of our valued guests via a silent auction. All proceeds will be donated to the Esk Jockey Club. DETAILS:- The auction is silent, the highest bid received by 11am on the 8th of July will win the full table of 10 which includes the use of a private table with 10 chairs and entry into the Esk Races. 13.01.2022 After a few tough summers without much rain our poor sites in front of the camp kitchen took a beating. Luckily enough for us, with the dirt from the new pool dig, we’ve decided to freshen them up with new soil and turf. These sites will feature lovely garden beds, an abundance of shade & sun with views of Glen Rock from your awning. We can’t wait to share these with you once there’re all ready to go!
