23.01.2022 Progress shot - here you see some re-melted 18ct white gold next to an engagement ring in the bottom left corner then Ive turned the re-melted gold into a solid parallel wedding ring in the bottom right pic. Then in the top pic youll notice that Ive shaped and notched out a section to allow the wedding ring to fit up underneath the basket construction of the engagement ring. 22.01.2022 Progress shot - doing a re tipping on a ring which has been in the family for 3 generations now! Starting bottom left - how it came to me Bottom right - after I laser welded new white gold on top of the worn out claws Top - after filing, shaping and some cleaning these claws are looking much better and will give my clients ring a new lease of life! 21.01.2022 Progress shot - I made this setting up the other day and Ive just cut some holes into the side of it to fit in the diamond set bars. First shot you see me cutting the holes with my saw frame then you see the diamond bars being soldered into place then in the top pic you see the semi finished piece. 20.01.2022 Here is a progress shot of the Golden Beryl Asscher cut stone I posted a couple of weeks back. I am making the inner bezel setting for it before i make the outer white gold bezel which will then attach to the pearl and diamond bars I previously made.

12.01.2022 Did you know that the diamonds found in the Argyle diamond pipe have been dated to about 1.58 BILLION YEARS of age? Yep! The actual volcano which created the pi...pe is said to be aged between 1.1 and 1.2 billion years old.... This means that there was a reasonably short period - of only 400 million years (!!) during which the formation of the diamonds actually took place. 02.01.2022 I hand draw my designs before getting my clients to sign off on them. This way we both know what the finished piece will look like and you get a really good look at your design before having to spend money on gold, platinum or diamonds.
