25.01.2022 Five days on from investing a theoretical $5000 into ASX200 listed companies of their choice, senior students today calculated what their investments are now worth. Next week we’ll trade shares for those that wish to tweak their investment portfolio and do so each week until the end of the year.

23.01.2022 A little bit of Christmas maths, literacy, craft and cheer across the school this past week

22.01.2022 Casual Clothes Day, Thursday 1st April, to celebrate the Last Day of Term 1! Please make sure you still have a hat, wear appropriate shoes, and have a jumper to keep you warm for the day.

22.01.2022 Hi again Pool is ready to open this Saturday. Still just need a couple of volunteers to get the shade sails up everything else has been or will be done prior to Saturday. I’m also looking for two people who may want to learn the water maintenance and chemistry if there is three of us and we take a month each to keep an eye on it would be very helpful.... Please give me a call on 0427587294 if you like to help out and we can organize a time to show you the ropes. Thanks again to all who have helped out this year getting things ready.

21.01.2022 It’s less than a week until the Eskdale Easter Fete! The weather forecast is looking great, the school is a buzz with organisation, can’t wait to see everybody there!

18.01.2022 Happy Easter to our Eskdale School families. I’m a bit late publishing these but ‘better late than never!’ We had a fabulous last day of term making Easter hats and parading them. We also had an Easter egg hunt. It was the best day to celebrate the end of a fantastic term. Stay posted for pictures of our fete!

17.01.2022 School photos are on the way. An email will be sent with your photos attached. Please be patient as the files are large and take a while to send. Also for any families participating in the 2020 tile project could you let the school know so we can send home tiles and paint on Tuesday. Thanks.

13.01.2022 Hi everyone. The pool is almost ready to open next weekend. There is still a couple of little cleanup jobs that need doing before and two shade sails need to go up. Blow around the pool edge Mow with the catcher on Tidy up and clean chairs... Bring up two metal table and chairs from school Anything else you can see that needs doing. Shade sails. They are two of the small ones from memory the other two are getting repaired. You will need a good ladder and probably two people. Let me know if you can help out by piping a comment on here. There is a set of keys at the school or contact me to organise a set Thanks in advance

13.01.2022 With the warm weather here those pesky little head lice start to make an appearance. We've had a sighting reported. So please check your children's hair and treat any head lice before returning to school or coming to camp.

13.01.2022 Senior students have continued their economics learning, establishing our own classroom economy and delving into topics such as income and expenditure, tax, insurance, worker’s rights and unions. Yesterday we explored the ASX and the basics of investment via the stock market. Students were given a theoretical $5000 to spend on stocks in the ASX200 to see if by the end of the year they can increase their initial $5000 outlay. Their conversations and appetite for risk were fascinating, so don’t be surprised if your Grade 3-6 student begins watching the finance report on the news!

12.01.2022 Hi everyone. I’m after a really big favour. I need to get three 40kg drums of chlorine picked up from poolside in Albury. There address is 846 David st Albury (opposite the cemetery). Will need to have plenty of room or a Ute. And if you drop them off either up near the pool or just at the school it would be great. You just need to go to the Counter and ask for the three drums of chlorine for Eskdale Primary School.... Thanks in advance. Cheers Ben

12.01.2022 The Eskdale Pool opens this Saturday 5th Dec, last chance to purchase your Early Bird Season pass!

11.01.2022 So after a term of learning about all things economics, what have the kids learnt? Well, have a look for yourself at the things they said have most resonated with them from this term... A big thanks to the free online Banqer program for the senior school too- it’s fabulous for our students to use online banking portals that replicate real life.

11.01.2022 Last day tomorrow. 2.00pm finish. Casual clothes may be worn if desired. Merry Christmas everyone.

10.01.2022 And they’re off! To camp that is...have a wonderful trip everybody!!

09.01.2022 Thanks to the Paul and the Eskdale CFA for helping with the pool today. They will be back at the pool again tomorrow from about 10.30am if anyone wants to see the fire truck in action

04.01.2022 Hi again. If anyone has a petrol pressure washer I could borrow at the pool could you please drop it off tomorrow. I have a bit of breakdown with mine. Anyone with a pressure washer and few hours spare tomorrow will also be welcomed the pump I have seems to work really well I might not be able to keep up to it . Thanks in advance

03.01.2022 It’s beginning to look a little like Christmas! The senior students have been part of a letter exchange this term which meant that they each wrote a letter to a school and in return, we have received letters with Christmas wishes and challenges for Random Acts of Kindness from all over Australia and New Zealand. Apart from the fun of receiving these letters, we’ve also had a lot of fun researching the schools and communities that have sent them. Some schools are like ours,... some are not. It’s been a great chance to use online resources to investigate the population, culture and economy of various places (amongst other things). The Random Act of Kindness our students were challenged to complete from today’s letter is to do something helpful at home. I hope they remember! Thanks to Andrell Education

03.01.2022 The Annual Easter Cake Stall is going to be HUGE! Don’t forget to label your creations, and list the ingredients for our customers.

03.01.2022 Welcome to the 2021 Foundation Students!! We are so glad you are able to complete a modified Covid Safe Transition program, see you all next week.
