20.01.2022 Well done to the Development Team at EMG for winning the Regional Asia Pacific Spatial Excellence Awards (APSEA) award for Spatial Enablement 2019. The Port Arthur Historic Site Interactive Web Map showcases the convict landscapes that shaped our past through an online, Spatial web map, due for public release in December 2019. This web map successfully bridges heritage tourism, anthropology, archaeology, academia and technology to display building footprints and the traces ...of convicts throughout the operational period of the world (in)famous Port Arthur Historic Site in Tasmania. EMG will be the Tasmanian representative in the Spatial Enablement category at the National Awards to be held in Brisbane in April 2020. EMG putting Tasmania on the map with spatial excellence. ~ Drones - Apps - Maps ~

08.01.2022 On Friday 16 Eskies from around the State converged on the newly renovated EMG Launceston Office for their annual staff meeting and lunch. We found out Jez is super competitive with him winning most of the activities held during the meeting Each staff member presented on a project theyd worked on, or currently working on, with a prize for coolest presentation, project or image! Secret voting was held and winner was Luke Ellis from the Hobart office (14/16 votes) with his humorous (but insightful) presentation on asset survey work at a sewerage plant lunch was at Levee awesome day had by all!
