24.01.2022 Can we talk about this @skinnymixer butter chicken for a moment please? Ok.. not the most glamorous photo I have ever taken, but omg the taste of this dish is just... no words! One of the more complex dishes Ive attempted in my Thermomix, saying that, it was still so easy with the help of Esme. Guaranteed to become a regular in our home. So who is coming for dinner?
24.01.2022 Esme had a busy weekend of cooking, we now have 2 batches of curried sausages, 3 batches of spaghetti bolognese, a family size shepherds pie, lots of chocolate chip muffins and well as blueberry muffins, chocolate chip oat bars, lunchbox quiches, low carb burger buns and some delicious sausage rolls all stashed in the freezer ready to make back to school a little easier this week... what to eat first??

23.01.2022 One of things I love about owning a Thermomix, is that get to control what goes into my kids food. This chicken stock paste is made with chicken, vegetables and spices. Thats it. No additives for flavour or preservatives to give it a long shelf life. This will last in the fridge or freezer for 6 months but I know it will be gone long before that because I use it in all my dishes!
22.01.2022 Making vegetable stock paste today for my freezer stash and this kid asked if he could make it for me... sure kid go ahead I love that its so easy for the kids to learn to make good food from real, fresh ingredients, teaching them healthy food habits and independence in the kitchen

21.01.2022 Two second muesli from cookidoo.. fresh delicious ingredients and no joke, it takes me longer to get everything in the bowl than it does to turn that fresh coconut, apple, dates and almonds into something that goes amazingly with yoghurt, on top of of warm oatmeal or even on its own.

19.01.2022 Chocolate hot cross buns. Does it get yummier than this? I love making bread in my Thermomix. Just add all the ingredients and have it kneaded for you.. easy! easy! easy!

19.01.2022 Ive been a little unwell since Christmas so Esme hasnt been as busy as she usually is.. Tonight Miss Ruby was in charge of dinner, and decided that spaghetti bolognese was on the menu. This is the @skinnymixer chunky bolognese (with a heap of added vegies) made in the Thermomix with only a little assistance from mum and tastes amazing. So proud

11.01.2022 With Christmas just a week away, Esme is busy making lots of treats to give away as gifts. Tonight it was rocky road with vanilla bean marshmallow.. yum!
11.01.2022 It doesn’t look like I’m doing much.. and really I’m not, just adding a couple ingredients into a bowl. So very simple. This time lapse isn’t overly interesting, but it’s my first ever video and I thought I’d take a moment to tell you that this 30 second clip, in real life, was 3 minutes of doing hardly anything while my Thermomix created some bread dough for me. This is why I love this machine. Fresh, additive-free bread warm from the oven, that the kids used to soak up so...me delicious chicken and sweetcorn soup (spoiler.. also made in the Thermomix) I’ll get the hang of this video thing and make some more yumminess to show you all soon
10.01.2022 The kids wanted eggs for breakfast, so Esme made eggs for breakfast. All it took was some water, add the eggs and Esme did the rest. Whether you like them ooey gooey or hard boiled its really easy to start your morning off yummy with a Thermomix

(Sorry to anyone too young to get that song reference ) With all that is going on in the world.. we need to adapt and change for a little while, learn new ways of interacting with each other and keep the world turning while trying to keep each other as virus free as possible.
