22.01.2022 I love this food saving tip!

20.01.2022 Got my Christmas present early! I've been procrastinating over whether I should buy an Instapot for about a year now. I love my Thermomix and use it every day. I also have a slow cooker which is another well used appliance. Do I really need an Instapot as well? ... I've read lots of great reviews on them and it comes highly recommended by a few friends so I decided to splash out. So please help me not regret my purchase by sharing your favourite recipes and valuable tips. :-) #instapost #pressurecooker #cooking #Nutrition

18.01.2022 I'm feeling extremely blessed that I have such good people in my life. A friend this weekend brought me an unexpected Christmas gift. It's absolutely perfect! This book Grounded: A companion for slow living, is beautifully presented with great photography. Full of inspiration and guidance on slowing down and living in the moment. ... Certainly over the last few years I've made many steps in the right direction to try and slow down and live more in the moment. However I still have a lot of work to do and this book will certainly help. #gratitude #grounded #nature #goals #slow

14.01.2022 Gluten-free, Dairy-free, Sugar-free and Gut Happy! I would have never thought to add Bone Broth into a cookie recipe but I'm telling you this one works. Bone Broth is highly nutritious, can help boost your immunity, reduce inflammation as well as supporting good gut health. ... There are a couple of options given in this recipe but I used GF oats, GF flour, ABC butter (almond, cashew & brazil), and Nutra Organics vanilla protein powder. Just before eating I drizzled some with nut butter and some with Pana Organics Hazelnut Chocolate spread. They taste yummy plain too. The perfect breakfast or snack for the kids! Thanks Gevity Rx for the recipe https://au.gevityrx.com/blogs/recipes/breakfast-cookies

13.01.2022 I come from Scotland and shortbread was one of my mums favourite things to bake. I have lovely childhood memories of eating lots of my mums delicious home made shortbread. I just won't think of all the caster sugar & white flour I consumed in the process I'm extremely heath conscious now and for all of you who prefer not eat gluten or grains here is a fantastic shortbread recipe.... #shortbreadcookies #grainfree #glutenfree #christmas #cooking #nutrition

10.01.2022 Strawberry Shortcake Bliss Balls These bliss balls are totally delicious! Incorporating gut-healing bone broth into these sweet treats is such a great idea. Although they are not lunch box friendly for my kids (as they contain nuts) they make the perfect after school snack. I love eating them straight from the fridge. ... 10.01.2022 As we have taken down the calendars of another year I like to look back and reflect on what has happened over the last 12 months. Also I like to set out some New Year goals. 2020 has definitely been a very unusual year! It's been a year to expect the unexpected, having to adapt to very unusual circumstances, and take every day as it comes. It has been the year to improve our resilience and focus more on gratitude. ... I'm so grateful that through this year myself and my husband have still been able to go out to work. Juggling the kids during remote learning was a huge challenge but we survived. Going out to work has kept this year feeling a little more normal and my sanity in check. I believe your most important asset is your health. My goal for 2020 was to continue my studies and complete a course in the Gut Microbiome. Unfortunately I didn't get my course started but it's now on my list of 2021 goals along with a few others. I have however gained a tonne of knowledge throughout this year working on my own health issues. With the travel restrictions and gyms being closed, I was forced to spend more time at home and in and around work where I managed to get through more books and podcasts than normal. I kept up with my fitness goals and doing many workouts in my lounge room. I really Impressed myself with how self motivated I was and made many friends on YouTube I would like to thank everyone for interacting on my social media pages. I love sharing all my health tips with you. If you have enjoyed my page please share it with your community as you just don't know who is looking for inspiration on how to improve their own health and well-being. I'm feeling really excited and positive for this coming year. One of my biggest goals is to finally start up my business as a Functional Nutrition Coach. Taking the first step is the hardest. I'd really love to know, what is your biggest personal goal for 2021? Please share and let's keep each other positive and motivated. #newyear #goals #gratitude #grateful #nutrition

09.01.2022 I'm paying Elly from We Bar None a visit today at our local farmers market to collect my Xmas present to myself. Check out this fabulous food scrap composting bin! For ages, I've been searching for a simple and convenient kitchen compost bin and this one is made right here in Australia. ... I've tried out others but they are either not big enough or they stink. I cook using a lot of fresh produce so I fill up my bin really fast. I love that you can put all your food scraps in this one including meat. Using the compost accelerator and masher means I won't be making as many trips down to the garden to empty my bin. My garden is going to love what this Urban Composted can produce!

09.01.2022 I was given this chocolate as a gift and it's absolutely fantastic! It's definitely up my aisle as Lucy from Bennetto Natural Foods Co. has produced a product that is climate positive, organic, fairtrade, vegan, gluten-free and delicious. I enjoy taking the time to read the information on different companies websites before I jump in and recommend their products. With food-related products, I especially like to check out all the ingredients. This chocolate contains no refin...ed sugar and definitely no nasties. This is a chocolate bar you can purchase and feel really good about. Go and support this fabulous New Zealand company. There are six flavours to choose from and I'm slowly working my through them all. Which is your favourite? #chocolate #fairtrade #vegan #glutenfree #nourishment #wholefoods #NZ #organic

07.01.2022 As we are having a few days of Winter weather again this week I thought I'd get back into some hot cinnamon porridge. I love using my doTERRA essential oils in my cooking to add delicious flavours. I've used gluten-free oats and made it dairy free by using coconut milk. On the side I added pear compote made with a touch of coconut sugar. ... #cinamon #porridge #nutrition #breakfast

04.01.2022 My kids have gone on holiday so I have total control of Netflix. It's giving me the opportunity to catch up with all my saved documentaries. First on my list was Kiss the Ground that sheds light on a rediscovered ancient approach to farming called regenerative agriculture. It has the potential to balance our climate, replenish our vast water supplies, and feed the world. ... I became more interested in regenerative agriculture last year after listening to a very powerful presentation while attending a health summit in Queensland. If you saw my live yesterday on my new composting bin and you are undecided around saving your food scraps from going into landfill then watch this film and you will be motivated to start composting. #composting #soil #globalwarming #nutrients #agriculture #nutrition
