18.01.2022 There is a RIGHT way to wear masks! They are most effective if you wear them correctly. Make sure they are well fitted with no gaps, cover your nose, mouth and chin all the time! pinch the nose area , don’t reuse them (wash or dispose after single use) and most importantly don’t touch your mask once you’re outside as that is the contaminated area. 18.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE: Dentists in metropolitan Melbourne will move to ADA Level 1 dental restrictions from 28th September 2020. This means that Essendon Dental Group will resume non-urgent procedures including routine examinations, cleans, dentures, and restorative treatment according to the Level 1 dental restriction guidelines. Ashley is the newest addition to the EDG team, she graduated from University of Otago and has worked in both community and private clinics in New Zealand and Australia. Once dental restrictions related to COVID19 are eased, Ashley is ready and raring to dive back into scale & cleans and sharing her oral health knowledge with patients!

18.01.2022 The Victorian government announced state-wide Stage 4 lockdown restrictions which come into effect from 11:59pm Friday 12 February until 11.59pm Wednesday 17 February. During this time we will be OPEN FOR EMERGENCIES ONLY. Please call between our normal opening hours 8:00am to 5:00pm if you have i. an obvious facial swelling due to infection i.e. vestibular swelling (no trismus), facial swelling (with trismus); or ii. facial trauma; or... iii. severe unrelenting pain. Alternatively, please present to an authorised public health care centre e.g. Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne (720 Swanston St, Carlton VIC 3053 9341 1000), your GP or your local hospital for care. 13.01.2022 The Victorian Government has announced that the five day restrictions imposed last Friday will end at 11:59pm tonight (Wednesday 17 February). This means that Essendon Dental Group can return to providing the full range of dental care from tomorrow, following our COVID Safe plan including appropriate patient screening and precautions. There are still a number of restrictions that will remain in place for the time being. Masks are still mandatory inside (and outside where so...cial distancing is not possible), so this means patients will be required to wear a mask in the waiting room, and staff will wear a mask at all times. Thank you for the understanding from all our patient's who were affected. We understand that the snap lockdown was difficult for everyone and we're glad that it's over! Essendon Dental Group

06.01.2022 We have been so happy (and busy) seeing our lovely patients for the routine, the scheduled, the NORMAL dental visits again over the last few weeks. Essendon Dental Group will be closed Friday 23rd of October for Thank You Day - well done to Melbourne and Victoria for all the sacrifices that have been made this year so that we are able to look forward to better things to come! The practice is open on Saturday as normal 9am to 1pm and Monday from 8am. Have a safe weekend and enjoy the footy!

01.01.2022 We ENTHUSIASTICALLY love cleaning our teeth, but we couldn't have achieved recycling 1000 pieces of oral care waste without the combined help of the community! Don't forget to collect toothpaste tubes, floss containers, toothbrushes, etc and deposit it in our collection bin! TerraCycle
