19.01.2022 Christmas parties, dinners, squeals of excitement Christmas Day - while this is all part and parcel of Christmas time antics. We mustn't forget that this can be extremely stressful for our pets. It’s important to remember that even the friendliest, most patient dog or cat can become a danger when stressed, particularly to children so be mindful of your pet and how they are coping during the height of activity. Tips to help your pets this Christmas period: - Create a ''safe ...space'' in a part of the house that is cool and calm where your pet can retreat to if they begin to feel overwhelmed with too many people or sounds. - Pay attention to your pet’s body language and if you notice your pet showing signs of anxiety including excessive yawning and lip licking in dogs take them away to their ''safe space'' so they can relax. - Try not to spoil your pet too much with human food , no matter how much they might be begging for it! This can upset their stomachs and can be toxic to their overall health. If your pet already displays heightened anxiety, make an appointment with us today to discuss treatment options

Thank you to everyone for your patience and we look forward to returning to a covid safe normal step by step.

08.01.2022 It’s important to remember all pets are individuals. A diet that may be fine for your friend’s pet may be completely inappropriate for your pet! Some breeds and sizes are predisposed to certain things and feeding to these needs can help diminish this. When it comes to a daily diet for your pet, it’s important to consult with your vet team about the best options tailored to your pet.

07.01.2022 As of 11.59pm on Wednesday Feb 17, we are again able to offer our full range of services. However we kindly ask that all clients comply with the following measures: Avoid attendance if you are unwell.... Masks are mandatory inside the clinic We ask that only 1 adult accompany their pet into the clinic If the waiting area is at capacity, please call the clinic from your vehicle to let them know when you have arrived. If you have a pet emergency during this time but are unwell, please call us to discuss the best way for us to ensure your pet receives the best care available. We would like to reinforce that we will continue to maintain our disinfection measures within the clinic. Thank you for your continued patience during this time.

07.01.2022 Keep your eyes open for ticks on your pet's skin this spring season. A good tip is to check them when you're giving them a brush.

06.01.2022 Cat's need protection from parasites too! Even if your cat is always indoors, they may still be susceptible to parasites.
