25.01.2022 Meditating regularly has changed my life My moods are more stable, I’m able to manage stress with more ease and have so much more space within myself to be a good mother, wife, daughter and friend. Normally I meditate in the morning using @Insighttimer... Enjoying the peace and grounding of Mother Nature was an extra special treat today. How did you start your Sunday morning? I hope it was with something for YOU! See more

25.01.2022 Mother Nature is food for the body, mind and soul. Did you get out and about in Mother Nature over the weekend to reset for the week ahead? Fresh air and a good dose of sunshine can do amazing things for your mindset and mental health. It is definitely high on my priority list on my weekends!

21.01.2022 Honouring the changing needs of our body throughout our lives isn't always easy, particularly if that change is sudden and precipitated by illness or injury. This is the situation I found myself in a couple of years ago after suffering a herniated disk in my back, twice. I was no longer able to do CrossFit exercise, which I enjoyed and I felt completely rudderless and lost for 2 years. I loved the community as much as I loved feei...ng strong and fit and really felt betrayed by my body. This year, I joined a yoga and pilates studio and slowly but surely, I'm getting stronger and fitter and I'm loving every class and meeting other awesome women. Now that I've stepped through the door, I can see that there's so much power in surrendering to the change. You never know what's waiting for you and having the mental and emotional flexibility to embrace change will keep you young. This journey has really highlighted the importance of recognising when what you've always done isn't working and that the next phase has just as much to offer as the last. What challenges have you faced going into the next phase of your life? See more

20.01.2022 Smoothies are an amazingly simple and a versatile way to start your day with a nutritional punch. Add a handful of baby spinach, kale and 1/4 of an avocado to your regular fruit smoothie for sustained energy that will take you through to lunch and I promise you, it’s surprisingly delicious! You won't even taste those hidden greens in there, a great way to hide greens from those little fussy eaters too - they love the bright colours of smoothies. What is your favourite smoothie combo?

19.01.2022 This is my post-yoga happy face. I shed tears of joy as I almost skipped into the studio for my first yoga class in 3 months with actual humans. The last 3 months have held so many positives for me but I’ve also spent A LOT of time in my own head, which can be great in moderation but this Libran needs balance in her life. So damn happy to be on the road to tipping those scales back into balance. What are most looking forward to this weekend?

19.01.2022 Treat meal alert! I don’t do diets and I don’t like the idea of cheat meals which I feel implies you’re doing something wrong and can lead to feelings of deprivation. Eating a whole food diet with lots of vegetables and quality protein most of the time is ideal for optimum health.... But If you go out or feel like a treat meal, be intentional about it. Eat it slowly and enjoy every last mouthful. How do you love to treat yourself? See more

17.01.2022 My coaching clients will tell you that one of the first healthy habits I encourage them to adopt is a regular meditation practice. This is because meditation has been scientifically proven to reduce stress, control anxiety and increase our overall mental and emotional resilience. It’s also free, takes just 10 minutes a day and you can do it anywhere! ... If meditation is something you’ve been meaning to do but never gotten around to it because you’re too busy then now may well be the perfect opportunity. We have been given the beautiful gift of time right now and I can’t think a better way to use it. Bx

14.01.2022 I'm not talking about your future self in a year. What can you do now that you'll be thanking yourself for tomorrow or even this afternoon? Maybe it's having that nutritious breakfast instead of cereal, maybe it's getting the workout in even though you don't want to get out of bed.... For me this morning, it's as simple as giving the house a quick clean because trying to work in a messy cluttered space is stressful. how my brain f...eels when the space is messy! What will you do today that you'll be thanking yourself for later? See more

12.01.2022 Who else loves a waterfall? Have you ever wondered why we are so drawn to them? It’s all those negative ions.... Don’t know what they are? Well, without getting too sciency on you, they’re invisible particles in the air that are abundant in nature particularly around waterfalls, beaches and after stones and they are essential to our health and wellbeing. Negative ions can: * increase serotonin levels * increase positivity * improve sleep *enhance immune function So, next time you’re feeling blah, do what your mum used to tell you to do and get some fresh air!

08.01.2022 Who do you lean on for support when the day gets rough? Sunflowers are stunning, bright, unapologetically bold and stand taller than all the other flowers in the garden. When the sun is shining they follow the sun across the sky. I remember reading somewhere that when it's cloudy, they turn to each other for warmth and radiance. Be a sunflower

07.01.2022 Good morning! How are you? Seriously. How are you? I’d love to know....Continue reading

07.01.2022 What new goal do you want to set? Or what dream do you have for your future?

05.01.2022 I learned about a new thing this week. It’s called reverse culture shock and is a phenomenon that many of us are expected to experience coming out of iso. Apparently it’s very similar to returning from a long overseas trip where you just don’t know where you fit in your old world anymore. You’ve had different experiences and have developed new interests, likes and dislikes and going back to your old normal is not at all where you want to be. ... So this explains why I’ve been feeling off kilter lately and reluctant to re-engage with the world. Not only have I slowed right down but I’ve done so much over the last few months and learned so much about myself and what I want for my life moving forward, that jumping straight back into the old crazy roller coaster is the absolute last thing I want to do. I don’t know what the answer is right now, but I’m going to be kind to myself, listen to my intuition and not rush back into the crazy and I’ll definitely be including many moments of stillness and reflection into my new normal. Who else can relate to this and what new learnings or habits will you be taking forward with you? See more

03.01.2022 Behind the scenes peak of yesterday’s brand photo shoot with @spindriftstories. . I’m usually incredibly self conscious in front of the camera but thanks to the wonderful coat of confidence applied by @_thatmakeupgirl, @oliviajdavies who role reversed and became my stage mum and Tasha’s easy unobtrusive style I was able to relax and enjoy the process. . It was an absolute whirlwind of fun, the weather was perfect and I can’t wait to share the images we captured. X @ Narrabeen North Beach

03.01.2022 AHHH she was a brisk and moody 8 degrees this morning! While the lazy mornings and sleep ins have been lovely for the past couple of months, it’s actually not something I want to continue into my new life. The lack of routine has been delicious but at the same time it’s created the perfect environment for poor habits to creep in. Hellllooooo Aldi chocolate overload! (Please don’t judge me. Lol) The truth is, humans need and crave routine and structure to their days to f...eel safe so with this knowing, I’ve decided to prioritise a much more productive rhythm to my mornings. I’ve always loved the quiet and solitude of the early morning and watching the sun rise over a new day. Combining that with exercise is my perfect way to start the day full of energy and this morning, was extra special because I’d got some movement in before I’m usually out of bed and I got to start the day with rainbows. What’s your favourite time of day and how do you love to spend it?

02.01.2022 I’m so excited to be teaming up with Ariane from ACH Fitness to create an online program for busy women approaching and over 50 and we need your input! So we can tailor the program to your needs, we need 10 women in this age bracket who are sick of feeling crap and want to get off the diet roller coaster to have a confidential 15 minute chat so we can gain true insights into what you would love to experience in a wellness program. We’re really passionate about this because ...we feel that our age group is largely unrepresented in this space and we want to get it right, so, if this sounds like you or if it sounds like someone you know, pop a comment below or message either myself or Ari and we’ll set up a time. To thank you for your time, we will gift with a gorgeous essential oil blend curated especially to you and you will also be given priority into our first program at a heavily reduced price if you decide it's for you. No catches, obligation or hard sell. xx

02.01.2022 This week, I became a mum to a 29 year old! Even though she’s all grown up, she still loves a birthday cake with candles. Who doesn't?! A few years ago, the cake probably would have come out of a packet but now I know better and this cake was not only delicious but it was full of protein, anti-oxidants, good fats and was gluten and refined sugar-free. ... What food swaps have you made in your life so you can still enjoy yummy things like cake? See more

01.01.2022 Outsourcing Before COVID-19, I had an amazing cleaner come to my house every week for 2 hours. Not because I’m rolling in cash (I’m not) but because between working full time, studying and trying to get a business off the ground, I had a lot going on. I’m also not a great cleaner and I don’t love it but having a clean house is important to me, so outsourcing made a lot of sense and I was happy to make some sacrifices to have that help. For now, while I’m at home, I’m doin...g my own cleaning while I also work really hard at this business gig. There’s so much to starting a business that I’m really really not good at and other areas where I simply need extra support and accountability to get the job done, so I’ve invested in a Virtual Assistant. She’s AMAZING! Yes, I’m making some financial sacrifices while I’m not working and the business is still growing but sometimes, when you have a huge dream, outsourcing the things that you aren’t good at and having someone in your court cheering you on will get you to your destination a lot quicker than trying to go it alone. The same is true for our health. No, I’m not suggesting that you outsource your health, but sometimes, when you have a goal you want to achieve and you’ve been struggling to get there on your own, you need the extra support, accountability and road map to create forward momentum. That’s what my role as a health coach is. It’s understanding that everyone is unique and working with my clients to find an approach that is right for YOU and working together to help YOU get from where YOU are to where YOU want to be! If prioritising your health is important to you, what would life look like if you achieved your goals?
