25.01.2022 I've succumbed to my daughter's sniffles & have my favourite Breathe blend diffusing. As well as diffusing whenever we have colds, I also use it make my girls personal vapour sticks (like Vicks ones) Australian Body is a local South Australian company & this blend is a staple in my oil box.

21.01.2022 My latest project - sourdough! This is day 2 just after a "feed".....so far it's behaving just like my googling said it should. Fingers crossed it's mature enough for a weekend bake Anyone else made their own sourdough starter ?
17.01.2022 My husband is already working from home, for now the kids and I are at school & work. This morning I got thinking about what happens if & when we do have to lock down. I believe we need to make our homes a happy & healthy place to be. Our mental health is as important as our physical health. Multiple studies have shown that stress can compromise our immune systems. ... Open the blinds, doors, windows & let the light and fresh air in to cleanse your space Diffuse relaxing, calming oils & blends - as well as help our minds, a lot of the oils in them also have antibacterial & antiviral properties Dedicate 20-30 mins to be outside, even its just enjoying coffee or a wine on a balcony or in your backyard If you are able go and stand on the grass barefoot & just breathe Get some indoor plants & bring the outside in. I'm a plant killer but have managed to keep about six alive. For a cheap option, seek out plant hire places - they sell off their older stock at dirt cheap prices. Do the things you never seem to have time for - baking, cooking, online learning, reading, board games Schedule Skype / video calls with your friends, have a virtual coffee date - seeing is better than hearing
