24.01.2022 Get excited for restrictions to ease and contact #BrookeDalsanto to put your name on the waiting list for a lesson

23.01.2022 Understanding a muscle and its function is what allows you to understand how and why horses work the way they do. Understanding function is vital to training and correctly achieving a desired outcome

22.01.2022 The nuchal ligament great information on some all to common problems

22.01.2022 Love this ! Moving in any direction is better than being stuck in a rutt with your training. Change it up, try something different, assess if your basics are still correct and if you need to reschool them do so Remember your horse is your partner, work with them, encourage them, support their weaknesses and reward them for their efforts. Then you will reach your personal goal faster

22.01.2022 A diamond in the rough This boy is one of my Favorites and its so inspirational to see how far he has come, how good he looks and what lies ahead for him

22.01.2022 A great visulisation of one of my favorite stretches. Many horses cheat in this stretch by keeping their body straight and only bending from the neck. This shows the stretch through the spine and topline that we are trying to achieve. Keep up the good work and remember to always make sure the horse is balanced when stretching to ensure relaxation is possible

21.01.2022 Some great information on canter and why its so important in building strength. It encourages both sides of the abdominals to work at once and strengthens the thorasic sling. Adding transitions not only further improves strength and balance but also allows a moment of rest and reward at trot for the horse

19.01.2022 A little look at the hyoid apparatus this delicate structure influences so much throughout the equine body. Understanding its connections can help you improve your training, horses movement and comfort.

16.01.2022 A fantastic illustration

16.01.2022 More on the connections within the equine body

16.01.2022 The partnership we share with our horses is like no other. It makes us openly analyse ourselves. How we did something, how we achieved our goal and most importantly how to better ourselves and learn from our mistakes for the future. Remember you and your horse are both individuals. Dont be afraid to find what works for you and each horse. Have the confidence to trust your gut instinct and enjoy the ride

15.01.2022 A fantastic read. Its vital to know what you are feeding and to understand why it works for you and your horse. Remember that often simpler is better and to feed what YOUR HORSES NEED not what is popular

14.01.2022 Little snapshot of Sponsored Pony Wilbur and #JemimaBoyhan training hard in lockdown. That canter is coming along nicely with halfpass and flying changes already in training. Exciting times cant wait to see whats next !

14.01.2022 A basic that many of us have been taught wrong. Many of us have grown up hearing 'heels down' Here is a great piece on your ankle and how it influences your seat

13.01.2022 A topic that needs more discussion. Should people be allowed to ride in bitless bridles competing at high levels of dressage ? Or at least not be required to wear a double bridle. For me the answer is simple, Yes. Dressage should be about having the relationship and technical ability to perform different movements in harmony and balance. If we need gadgets or bad habbits to achieve this then we have lost the art of dressage and respect for an equal relationship with our horse. I have given it a small go riding in a neck rope and have really enjoyed it. It really identifies where we are unbalanced and highlights the effects your seat can have.

12.01.2022 This post is fantastic. So many of us are so driven in achieving our goals that we get tunnel vision. Learning to assess the horse that we have in front of us each day is vital to success. Many horses will be rehabilitating injuries that may be better one day to the next, horses will be fatigued one day and not the next when building fitness and some horses mentally can be in a different place everyday.... So the trick to successful training is Learning to assess how your horse is each day and recognise the training methods and exercises best suited to what's in front of you on the day to gain the most out of a training session.

09.01.2022 Great news that we can safely care for, including ride our beautiful horses during these though times. Even if they are outside the 5km radius from your residence. I know they sure are my happy place and I bet they are for many of you to enjoy your horse time my friends. Its also looking good for work to continue, i will keep you posted when i get confirmation

07.01.2022 Sponsored Pony Wilbur has found himself a wonderful new rider. Welcome to the team #JemimaBoyhan To say im excited is an understatement. These 2 have been together for 6 weeks are getting to know each other well and smashing goals ! Wilbur is a fantastic pony to work with. He lets you know his oppinions about everything and how he is feeling. #JemimaBoyhan gives fantastic feedback on his treatments and has amazing feel for the difference they make and what is needed still Im excited to learn from the pair of them and improve as a therapist. Thankyou to Wilburs mum #EvaSaraid for this opportunity

05.01.2022 I often mention to clients that what is going on in front can influence changes behind. This is a fantastic example of one of the many connections found within a horses body that directly links the frontend to the hindend.

02.01.2022 This article is Amazing! Thankyou Victoria I love the way she says never do a PRE wrong i did and learnt the hard way. I have changed my entire way of riding and still have alot to learn. So much is mental thought processes with these horses. They are sensitive souls and i often worry about how people will interpret them. With their growing popularity I encourage people to research the breeds if you dont have experience with them. They arnt for everyone and i hope they dont develop a bad name for this because when you do click with them its amazing and the sky's the limit to what you will learn.

02.01.2022 Remember the important things in life. What you love and why you love it. To get the best out of our horses we need a happy healthy relationship with them
