Friendships were broken while the community took their Local Member Gareth Ward, head on to keep the districts independence.

03.01.2022 War of Words. What started as an ordinary Shoalhaven City Council meeting has turned in to a decade long project In 2007 when Alex Arnold said to me,"I should stay for next debate'.... The meeting exploded before my eyes, sparking an idea to follow Cr Gareth Ward's journey through local politics and then NSW State. Gareth Ward went on to win Seat of Kiama. Today we start editing War of Words, Chapter 1 of the next feature documentary - The controversial Council Mergers. Filming will continue until the 2019 State election.
