05.01.2022 REIKI IN HEALTHCARE: Look closely at the picture below. It appears to be a standard outpatient clinic exam room which we have all visited. Please note the BP c...uff, thermometer, needle disposal box, gloves, sink and soap. This is also the room where Reiki sessions are offered as part of the Integrative Medicine Clinic affiliated with the EEHealth System in the Chicago area. There is a comfortable chair/table that can be adjusted electronically. The lights can dim and there is soft music playing through speakers overhead. It is perfect and peaceful space for Reiki. The room can also be used by other providers. Reiki is arriving and beginning to thrive in healthcare settings. Reiki practitioners are becoming an essential part of healthcare teams. 03.01.2022 Reiki has changed my life in such a profound way that I decided to leave my white collar career. Why? Because seeing such positive changes in myself, family and my beautiful clients made me realise that I could affect more positive change through Reiki. As my practice grew I began to feel more passionately that this ancient gentle practice be passed onto as many as possible in a professional and nurturing space. Having spent the last five years running busy clinics in Weste...rn Medicine and prior to that working within Education and Training it was time to take those skills, add to them and bring this course to all that feel called to take the Reiki journey. Reiki is not only a wonderful healing modality but it opens up your spiritual connection, intuition and enhances your awareness of everything around you and within you.
