25.01.2022 How is it going wearing all your hats? Does it all feel a bit heavy? A constant juggle hoping you dont drop anything? Are you feeling overwhelmed most of the time? Do your current hats include parent, business owner or employee working from home, live in chef, teacher, fitness coach, unemployed, entertainer, referee, counselor, IT technician, cleaner, handyman, hunter-gatherer, scientist, statistician, researcher, nurse, delivery driver, comedian... ... Lets be real for a minute, this is not my April fools post, I know I look like a mess. As I sit here in my PJs, with countless days old dirty hair and wearing every single hat I own. Its all for one reason I need you to listen up! You are not failing right now, you are most simply just expecting too much from yourself. We are all imperfect right now as we juggle, balance and navigate this day, week, month, season- year! I can say, the last 3 years I worked hard on knowing how to be my best self. I figured out how to drop my crap, leave it behind, no longer carry it and how to back myself and share what I do well. I am physically and mentally healthier than I was in my 20s, Im a present and happy mum, my relationship is solid, I am a good friend, I am a daughter and family member who makes time for family, I have worked super hard this past year as a entrepreneur making changes in the lives of other. I am committed to my community and I advocate like a trail blazer for those who have a fundamental right to be safe and cared for. I generally wear lots of hats and they each have their space to shine. I live within my capacity and its for the long game. Right now it is not the time to be doing all the thing, all of the time and all from my shared home space. I am not on my A-game, yet I hold grace and empathy for this version of me that needs to adjust and still feel joy and be the best version of myself within this current challenge. I want you to put down the self imposed judgements and focus your intention back to what needs your current attention. Work out where your capacity lies, what is overwhelming you and what needs to be put to the side. Right now- say to yourself; It is ok. I am enough. I am good enough. I am doing enough. I have said to a lot of people this past week who are struggling with their own decisions, the decisions taken out of their hands and how to find calmness in the chaos. Take inspiration from Buddhism practices which regularly take opportunities to self-retreat for the purpose of growth. At EssentiAlly, we are all about the essentials- how to become set for life. Reach out; now is the time to get a wellness plan set into action.

21.01.2022 R E S T & R E S E T As part of The Essentials coaching program, I encourage clients to consider what slowing down to speed up looks like for them. The gift of rest is an opportunity to pause, retreat, seek solitude, decompress our mind and cleanse our body. ... Through rest creates space in our own capacity to reset. To gain clarity, provide healing, to shift our perspective moving forward. To self examine and provide necessary peace and self-care. Taking this time to practice being present and honouring our journey dramatically increases our wellbeing. By embracing the challenge within our coaching session means you can re-emerge wiser to become a champion for yourself and others.

19.01.2022 #WellnessWednesday While chatting with a client yesterday about how their new routine was going and how we could identify aspects that are having a positive impact on their stay-cation and what aspects were not quiet working well for them. I recognised, a lot of families are currently at this crossroads, as cabin fever is setting in and household communication becomes strained. So I thought I would share todays Top Wellness Tip with you all. ... If your household has a shared family goal to get outside in order to exercise, either a family walk, to walk the dog, go for a bike/scooter ride or even a jog. Start by having a conversation that recognises this is a shared daily goal. Does this then make it a top priority for everyone? Gain consensus and cooperation. If its a battle, if its not working, then identify what are the barriers and how to disarm them, before having the expectation everyone is on the same page. For my clients family, it was identified that first thing in the morning, before their home day starts and their individual activities take over, would work best. By doing this first, meant their daily outlook was from a position of success which has a flow-on effect to other daily goals. First thing in the morning is when your less likely to be juggling distractions or having to put tasks on hold in order to get to this goal. It also means you may just be kinder to yourself for sticking to your routine. How many times do we call quits on having a good day because things dont go to plan? At EssentiAlly Welness Solutions; our phone-online The Essentials coaching program is designed to deliver lifelong wellness, sustainable through times of change and focused on results which see you EssentiAlly set for life. Some days being in your pjs is great, some days there is need for negotiation, continual communication and lots of praise for simple progress. Some days even the Wellness Coach is the one who needs a bit of extra motivation, like barista coffee FIRST. Be kind to yourself, be kind to your household. Be kind to our community. Choose to make kindness contagious!

I can not wait to see how they are essentiAlly set for life.

16.01.2022 While I was scrolling, I saw Nicole who came to our Vision Board workshop post this on FB. I had a chuckle I was also so grateful for having shared the Vision Board workshop with some amazing people when we did, in late 2019 and early 2020. A Vision Board is there to see you live your best life. Help you clearly see your goals come to fruition. Right now those who came to our workshop have every priority still in order, they have a beautiful Vision Board which acts as a vi...sual road map to know you can back yourself and you have everything you need to pivot and grow when presented with any challenge! In our workshop some wrote notes of encouragement to our future-selves to see us through the tough days ahead. Now is a great time to read them to yourself. #Kindnessmatters . Or let your Vision Board become flexible- its why we used pins! Nothing is permanent. While so many people are struggling with such changes or hibernating with Netflix. Those with a Vision Board have had 3 months to work on the foundation to drive through the challenges to lead you to your best life! So I encourage you to go back to your vision board, the handout notes you took away and spend some time gaining clarity. The answers are all there.

11.01.2022 It's International Women's Day and I wanted to declare my annual commitment. Here it is! I love that my work with women helps them be seen and heard AND to become the best version of themselves. Thank you to you all for being a part of my purpose. ... This year I participated in the high tea fundraiser event for Camden Women’s Shelter. Having attended International Women’s Day events since 2005, this day holds a special day in my journey. Last year being most memorable with publishing my message as a co-author with some amazing women and their stories of inspiring change. I continue to strive to balance the moments of celebration with the ongoing challenge for the work still desperately needing to be done. The awareness and ongoing discussion about inequality, disarming biases and yet empowering each other to reach our potential- it’s all done each and every day. #ChooseToChallenge #IWD2021

10.01.2022 TRANSFORMATION Often when our thoughts, our belief system and our values are challenged it can lead to an uncomfortable awakening. In these moments we can choose to reflect, self examine, grow and learn more about ourselves than we do in the moments of calmness, peace or even in times of joy. I have found complacency does not serve our journey through life to be enriched. Everyday I am blessed to look upon this commissioned artwork hanging in my hallway. A piece my husband ...and I had requested from a incredible emerging female Aboriginal Artist Nikeeta Haverfield Teekart- Contemporary Aboriginal Art. We wanted a piece which captured our own transformation in becoming a family, the journey of parenthood, the heartache, the fears, the blessings and most of all the profound love we share. All the promises we made through this chapter in our life for our future. As a lifelong wellness educator who supports clients to unlock their own roadmap for intentional and purposeful living. I whole heartedly believe any form of awaking can lead to a transformation which can cause a revolution. We need more people on the path to a revolution. Those who wilfully step towards the uncomfortable in pursuit of deepening their connection TO one another and FOR one another to collectively do better than we though ourselves capable of only yesterday.

10.01.2022 PERCEPTION Studying psychology at university we delved into the field of sensation and perception. Humans can see up to 10 million shades of colour, yet no two people see colour in the same way. Light receptors in our eye transmit messages to the brain to produce the familiar sense of colour. No one perception of an objects colour can be completely correct. Dont get me started on our olfactory system and sense of smell- which is even more subjective and complex. Today I ...had the reminder of how we can never quiet trust our own perceptions to be the bases of our decision making or how we come to a judgement. We are biased and unique by design. We can choose to recognise that our own subjective human nature is flawed and how this can powerfully cause division within our life. I am a huge advocate for self development. Often with a coach, much like myself we can examine and engage in self reflection which unlocks patterns of behaviour which have perhaps unknowingly caused pain as we relied on our perception to inform our judgement. A true willingness to see things from someone elses perceptive and know that they speak their own perception of their truth is a trained skill we can utilise to deepen our own awareness and disarm our own limitations. This morning the first Facebook post I saw was this shoe image: it was pink and white- clear as day! Then 5 hours later the picture comes up again. Its grey and green 100% . My analytical brain tells me there is two pictures on Facebook with filters . Then I realise its the SAME post! Explanation: during the night while I slept, the right side of my brain- my subconscious was flourishing, through the day as I go about my routine tasks the left side of my brain takes over in order to be analytical of how I remain on task and efficient. If the right brain is operating as dominant then you see pink and white. If the left brain is dominant then you see green and grey. Test your own perceptions and how they CAN be unreliable. Save this image and check its colour in the morning and during the day. Very interesting. Post what you see and what you see the second time in the comments below. The left brain is analytical, numerical, logical, scientific, systematic thinking. The right brain is about creativity, music, art, subconscious mind, multi-tasking skill.

05.01.2022 KINDNESS I have questioned so much this year. What I do know despite all the uncertainty; kindness is contagious. Within my network, I dont know anyone who has faced having covid-19. ... Yet; I do know 2 people who have committed suicide in the past 3 months. One being a family member. I know of 2 people who have experienced domestic violence within their home, one was a stabbing. There has been 3 babies born that I have not yet met, their parents have not been surrounded by their tribe during their first few months. Within my extended family there are 3 pregnancies I have not been able to witness their journeys. I have a friend who has rescheduled their dream wedding, having saved for years to have the big celebration they wanted. I know several people who are currently battling cancer in active treatment and I have not been able visit or support. I know countless people who have been stood down, been made redundant or employment contracts ended. I have seen businesses owners who have been so kind to me during my first year, businesses which are now closed. Within all I have witnessed and the connections I have craved. To move through the pain, kindness has been more essential than anything else. In the absence of physical presence, the missed hugs, or cafe catch ups. My time sending messages, videos chats and phone calls has been the glue that keeps the connection alive. I may have not been able to hold the hand of those I treasure, or those who needed my physical support. While I have adjusted; the necessity of there being kindness has not been diminished or devalued. As a relator-connector empath type of personality, my openness to deliver kindness has needed to be reinvented in order to remain authentic. I imagine this is also true for a lot of people moving through these times. So choose to see kindness as being contagious; the most powerful tool we can take personal responsibility for. See more

04.01.2022 Last official post for the year... 2020 what a year. I had no idea where it was going to take me when it began. I had a vision of what I needed personally and professionally. My life was full and the gratitude for authentically building EssentiAlly was abundant. A lot has happened, I became a Amazon best selling Author, sharing my story as a Change Maker. EssentiAlly was recognised as a Australian Small Business Champion Finalist in the Heath Improvement Services. Our holist...ic approach to wellness was recognised on National TV, thanks to featuring on Healthy Homes on Channel 10. I was feeling so proud for my clients and their results thanks to my coaching program ‘the essentials’, as it delivered lifelong solutions to a growing client base. Unfortunately the second half of 2020 had events booked and public speaking opportunities reaching across Australia that could not go ahead. As well as holding off on a studio calendar filled with a range of workshops we hoped would foster self care and connection to our inner creative self. Like most things in 2020 pivoting was required and new trajectories were navigated. Delving into what was most important brought my family and my own health to the forefront; as we began the journey of expecting our second child. Utilising my skills and professional attributes during 2020 saw me returning full time to my roots as an essential worker within the community and health sector. With some trepidation and heartbreak EssentiAlly took a back seat to a purpose which served our most vulnerable community members. It’s now; with the very much anticipated arrival of our newest family member and having come to the end of a huge year. I have gained the acceptance and reflection to honour my 2020 journey and can share what has required a fortitude of trust. Within the first year, EssentiAlly has reached an audience in the thousands. We have shared a message which resonates with so many who require more intentional and purposeful living in their life. Witnessing lifelong wellness solutions being embrace by my superstar clients has been memorable. All amazing achievements which I am so unbelievably proud of. 2021 will be our greatest adventure, for this I am sure! Thank you to all our network who have cheered and championed our success. Thank you to our supporters reading this, we wish you a safe, joyful Christmas. Looking forward to supporting you one day soon to be ‘EssentiAlly set for life’ Ally Photo credit: Envious Photography

04.01.2022 Spring brings new life and new beauty to all that is Looking to nature, provides us with a gentle reminder with the changes of seasons we are constantly on a journey. As the first day of Spring today we welcome opportunities for renewal and regrowth. ... 2020 has presented us all with a chance to refocus, reflect or perhaps to experience a change of pace. I have been gifted so many blessings this year; an ability to nurture my family and the opportunity to focus my attention on creating the future my husband and I strive to build. As well as going deeper in my own journey of living with intention and purpose. Despite some challenging moments over the past few months, I have not been alone, thanks to my little guys constant reminders of his presence and soon enough, his arrival. At EssentiAlly Wellness Solutions I have been committed to helping clients be essentiAlly set for life. Sustainable and life long solutions for our health, happiness and for our home. It has been so wonderful to see clients whom I worked with during 2019 come to feel emotionally and physically equip to rise to their own challenges in 2020. To have the foundation of skills to know how to navigate their priories and how to maintain their unique path. With a tremendous year behind us, now is my season of bringing new life into our family. With my own motherhood journey continuing to keep me enriched in the weeks and months ahead. I will be taking maternity leave from all workshops and coaching, with my current clients remaining supported through outreach and scheduled catch ups. I wish to thank you all for the support and encouragement shown. I look forward to returning with an enrichment from my own experiences and add value to the future days ahead. Ally

04.01.2022 Its high time Coaching was looked at a part of a holistic, multidisciplinary approach to mental health. At EssentiAlly Wellness Solutions our unique coaching program The Essentials has been successfully supporting teenagers to adults navigate their journey, in a proactiv...e and healthy way. 03.01.2022 Soooo incredibly honoured to be nominated and receive a #camdenlove bear for ‘showing love and kindness for Camden and our community this year. It’s certainly been a year unlike any other but being a part of fostering more kindness, compassion and ultimately better wellness for everyone within our community is our mission. Thank you Camden Council and Mayor of Camden Theresa Fedeli for such a beautiful gesture.

02.01.2022 Healthy Homes Australia is back on Channel 10 today. Congrats to Walt Collins and Dani Wales. Look forward to see what innovative ideas are being shared.

01.01.2022 What are you choosing to remember from this moment in time? What has your attention? What are you focused on? What can you not let yourself forget? ... For me, 2020 has been an unexpected opportunity to check that my life jacket is on, in order to practice what I preach. To ensure the checks and balances I utilise in coaching and support clients in navigating; can weather any storm. In order to keep finding my best-self and my most authentic life. My attention is on how life is currently filled with meaning, purpose and intention. There are times of stretching and testing my own values and perceptions. Its also about thought-framing, for instance its NOT failing to be able to press pause or reevaluate how you spend this time. Even seeking to better know this version of ourselves. Sure, life right now has some serious G-force waves crashing down- all somehow happening in slow motion. This year there have been moments which required me to fine tune my own wellness routine in order to not hold space for destructive thoughts and actions. That ok too, its what growing requires- adaptability. What happens from here, 2020 is going to continue to be a year of pivoting and team work. I know so many of us are trained for this. I say to clients, its just like those cold winter mornings on the netball court, or the soccer field, or any sport really. You know who to defend, who is on the attack. You are ready to pivot at any moment and you dont forget to breathe. I find, at times its as simple as taking on the advice of Dory the animated fish- 2020 is when we all just kept swimming. 2020 is not about what is or isnt, or what may be lost. 2020 is the year you get to decide what matter most to you. What has the most of your attention, what have you created space for within your home, in your mind and in your heart. I have the choice to decide if and how I wilfully tune out the world and enjoy the space I thrive in, create in and love deeply in. If you are struggling with finding ways to shut out the noise, slow down the pace and feel your way through the emotions. Thats ok too- 2020 is also about kindness to each other and mostly ourselves. Embracing your own opportunities can cause the mental fog to clear and you can find beauty in your journey. What will be your biggest so I dont forget reminder of 2020? Share below.
