13.01.2022 Essential Speech Pathology welcomes Claire Murphy who started with us in February Hi, my name is Claire Murphy and Im a certified Speech Pathologist. Im also a member of Speech Pathology Australia. Since beginning my career journey, Ive always known that working with children would be the area in which I would work. Building quick rapport, I have a calm manner and always ensure my clients are engaged and motivated during sessions.... I have previously worked in a specialist education setting, seeing clients who have a range of social, language and speech difficulties, and those with Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Learning Delays. From this experience, I am a firm believer of the importance of early communication intervention and wish to support the clients at Essential Speech Pathology before or during their schooling. From early school years until now, Ive volunteered to help others communicate in the best way that they can. I hope to continue this work throughout my life with the experience and expertise that I have to offer.
