25.01.2022 If you've seen my previous posts, you'll see I've spoken about how AromaTouch works, so now it's time to talk oils. If you missed it, jump on my page to take a look! The first oil used in the AromaTouch Technique is doTERRA Balance. It's one of my favourites In this massage technique, the oil is primarily used to help ground the recipient and foster a connection between them and the giver. A beautiful smelling oil that really kicks off the relaxation

21.01.2022 Does the smell of lavender remind you of your Great-Great Aunt Edna's linen closet? Before smelling doTERRA's lavender oil I used to...not be fond of the aroma. But the purity of doTERRA's Lavender Essential Oil was enough for me to change my mind! Mixed with a little Wild Orange, it's now a favourite Lavender is one of the most used essential oils. It is known to be calming to the mind, can be soothing to skin irritations and promotes relaxation and restfulness. In AromaT...ouch Technique, Lavender is used in the first stage of the session, Stress Management, to support complete relaxation of the recipient's body and mind. If you're interested in trying out doTERRA Lavender or would like to know more about the AromaTouch Technique drop me a line

18.01.2022 It's been a few weeks between posts, but I'm back! (Did you think you'd get rid of me that quick? ) This week we focus on Melaleuca essential oil, more commonly known in Australia as Tea Tree. There are not too many Aussies that are not already aware of the distinct smell and benefits of Tea Tree oil. Many of us grew up with a bottle of it in the cleaning cupboard, where Mum often put it in the mop bucket or bathroom cleaning kit where it helped to disinfect and make everyth...ing smell clean and fresh. But there are myriad benefits that we have forgotten in society's move toward chemicals in cleaning and health care. I consider Tea Tree to be a bit of a super-oil. Antiseptic, antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral - almost anti-everything! My son face-planted into some gravel the other day. A bit of (diluted) tea tree oil and next day the graze was clean, dry and healing beautifully. Zits on your face? A teensy bit straight on the spot usually has it cleared up in a day. It's also great for cold and flu, various viral infections, cleaning (like in the old days!)...the list goes on! With regards to AromaTouch, Tea Tree is the first oil used in the Immune Response step of the technique. It was chosen for the technique for it's cleansing properties, and assists your body to rid itself of those toxins clogging up your system and set your immune system on the right track. If you want to know more about this incredible oil or the AromaTouch Technique please flick me a message!

11.01.2022 AromaTouch Technique is all about relaxing and rejuvenating. There are four stages to the massage: Stress Management - the initial oils are designed to help you relax your mind and body Immune Support - the oils used in this stage are known for their cleansing properties and their ability to support a healthy immune system... Inflammatory Response - using blends that encourage muscle tissue healing, increased blood flow and natural pain reduction, this stage focuses on supporting the healing of physical pains and strains within your body Homeostasis - the final stage is about restoring balance within your body, and providing support for rejuvenation and invigoration If this sounds like just the thing you need to boost your well-being, get in touch!
