Essimo has compiled 25 pages of: puzzles, cross-words, find a words, colour-in, matching words and diagrams, cut and paste, and memory activities for many different ages. Adults could really learn some Japanese Terminology from the Activity book too.... Just message and Essimo will return the Judo Activity Book as an attachment for FREE.

23.01.2022 Our very active Australian and New Zealand Judo Coach, Ivica Pavlinic provides an excellent demonstration of exercise that can be done with the ESSIMO Uchi-Komi Band. 18 different techniques and drills, and double that if you do both left and right side. 19.01.2022 10 WAYS TO HELP YOUR JUDO CLUB IF IT'S TEMPORARILY CLOSED... For many of us, our Judo club is more than just a place where we do sport. Our Judo club is where we catch up with friends, keep our bodies and minds fit and take a welcome high energy break from modern life.... Most clubs are run by volunteers and rely on mat fees, membership payments and volunteer contributions to keep the doors open. If you’re one of the lucky few who is a part time professional coach, you’ll know how financially marginal most Judo clubs are. We recognise this is a time where you may seek alternate employment - however, we want you to come back to Judo when things normalise. If your club is temporarily closed, here’s how you can help make sure it reopens in tip top shape. 1. Ring your coach - and ask them what help the club needs. 2. Organise a (small) Judoka working bee to clean the mats - with disinfectant and a scrubbing brush. 3. If you’re feeling generous, make sure you keep up your mat fees for the time the dojo is closed. 4. If you run a business and know a Judo coach whose employment is affected - consider giving them some part time or contract work. 5. Freshen up the Dojo with some new posters or a lick of paint. 6. Don’t cancel your club membership if it comes around. 7. Use this time to improve the clubs marketing suite, like fixing the website, making some flyers and creating some new programs for when the dojo re-opens. 8. Tidy up that cupboard full of belts and second hand gis you’ve been ignoring for all these years. 9. Club officeholders - catch up on club administration. 10. Plan the social event that marks the inevitable club re-opening session!
