20.01.2022 You have to wonder why people still support a tech company that 1. Has outrageous prices 2. Likes to set expiry dates on their products (like the iPhone 4 which is now about as useless as an old flip phone but still has brilliant internals..)... and there are alot of other reasons to hate :) Anyone who reads this, take no offense if your an Apple fan but all should consider wether we want a throw away society with built in obsolecence or wether we want products that last. 15.01.2022 Want to be smart next time you buy a second hand smartphone? --------------------- There a few things to check before buying a used phone off of anybody especially on gumtree! By doing these simple checks you can be better assured that you wont get scammed by the next man. ---------------------... - Pre info - What is an IMEI? : Every phone has a unique number around 15 digits long assigned to them called an IMEI number (International Mobile Equipment Identity) the number itself is used to identify the phone and basic information about the phone such as the model and type etc. This number is also used to block phones from the cellular network. An IMEI is alot like car number plates for phones. The IMEI is usually written on the phones exterior but its best to type *#06# into your dialer to get the number as the exterior of the phone may have been swapped. --------------------- - what to check - 1- The first thing you should always check is whether the phone is blocked to the network or whether it is iCloud locked you can check by using these two websites below. For iPhone - https://www.icloud.com/activationlock/ For Any other phone - http://www.lost.amta.org.au/IMEI 2- Check for missing screws especially near the charging port on iPhones as this will indicate that at some point (not necessarily the person your buying it from) the phone has been repaired and someone has carelessly lost the screws this doesnt mean anything will be wrong with the device but it will give you a bit of history if you ask why they are missing. 3- Always check every type of sensor and function! The click buttons feel smooth yet satisfying there are a couple extra buttons that can be mapped to as well! The mice LEDs phase colours and have a really cool eye catching effect the pictures are of the same mouse just at a different time! 07.01.2022 Hey are you a parent with a teen that may have problems with their Financial situation, confidence or self esteem? Well I just wanted to post this one as I think its a great suggestion for younger people these days as the ones willing to give it a try may find themselves in a better position : D! Basically What I wanted to say is that doing business and making that contact with customers has really changed my way of thinking, I didnt really have many confidence issues but I ...can tell that I am a more confident person after the experiences I have been through. Having to deal with the good and the bad gives you so many real life skills and these skills arent just learning to flip a burger these skills are about how to value yourself, learning where you want to be and what you want to do in life. My suggestion if you have someone looking to actively attempt to build on themselves then why not start a business of the sorts? That is my suggestion its not for everyone but in my eyes its a fine suggestion! Dont let the good die young! Now youve accessed a cool menu which is great for when you buy phones and need to make sure your seller isnt dodgy... YAAYYY!! Now remember kids dont forget to check the IMEI for blacklisting in case the phones stolen and always check for that Icloud lock, Google is your friend in this Instance!!!
