25.01.2022 Construction Update Addval Developments is thrilled to advise that construction at Estate, Forrest is progressing rapidly, and the three distinct buildings are starting to really take shape. The heritage-inspired Collins building’s trademark curved brick façade is nearing completion. The curved bricks used to create this unique architectural feature have been designed and produced especially for Estate. With the roof also now on the Collins building, the interior finishing tr...ades have commenced the internal fit-out works. We expect exterior scaffolding to come down from the Collins building towards the end of October. Estate’s more contemporary Empire building is set to become an architectural landmark which will punctuate the final approach along Canberra Avenue to Parliament House. All concrete for the Empire building is complete, which now allows for the formwork frames to be removed. At the same time, the structural steel and roof trusses will be installed. The individual apartments will begin to look distinguishable as the internal walls are lined with plasterboard and interior finishing trades start work. Denison, Estate’s boutique building, is also well advanced with roof trusses, frames and the double glazed windows installed. The plaza area with the water feature, pocket park and communal wine cellar are also beginning to come to life. Completion anticipated late 3rd quarter / early 4th quarter 2020.
