24.01.2022 1 year ago today we put this bloke on. His attitude was a bit ordinary at the start, but he soon proved himself. He is now the self appointed boss of estateoutdoor and store man that controls what comes in and out of the shed and tool boxes every day. He's probably not much chop at outdoor construction and more of a specialist in indoor deconstruction, although he loves eating dirt and holding up the boss lady from doing quotes and invoices we reckon he could stay a bit longer. 12.01.2022 After months of scratching our heads and putting it off. We finally put this heavy and solid, full travertine water feature direct from Italy in place at our job in Cape Schanck. Crane was a no show. So Tow rope, a Ute and 5 blokes later. We finally moved it the whole 6 long meters from where it was delivered and nervously put in place...... and that’s only the first piece of it. Fair to say we were anxious. The stone feature wall as the backdrop compliments the feature itself and ties in well with the surroundings. 12.01.2022 Fence and retaining wall built in Sorrento. I’ve always been sceptical about how fences are built. Just because a fence separates the boundary does not mean the construction should be taken lightly. What you see here is two structures Independent of each other... a retaining wall, retaining the neighbouring land mass and a fence built behind that wall indicating a boundary between two neighbours, all the potential stress Is on the retaining wall, not the fence. This way the fence will never buckle under pressure of the neighbouring land mass. And of course we use concrete to secure our structures not dirt...
