18.01.2022 Announcement Nick Cecil | Youth Coach Estates Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Nick Cecil as Coach of the youth team for the 2021 season. ... Nick recently joined Estates last season as a Striker and was part of the double winning second division side and also as coach of our Little Knights Program. Nick has gained vast experience throughout his career after playing with Redlands United of Brisbane at just 5 years old. Nick has represented QLD as both an outdoor and futsal player from the ages of 12 -16. Nick then made the step up to play senior football for Redlands United in the QLD NPL at just 16 years of age, before going off to join the Army. Whilst in the Army, Nick played for both the 3rd Brigade team and represented the Army on a number of occasions. Nick is looking forward to being a part of a coaching team that has such a great amount of knowledge and is excited about developing the Youth of Estates to ready them for the step up to the Townsville Premier League and beyond. Nick has just recently completed his FFA Senior C Licence course and is ready to put his new skills to use! We Welcome Nick to the Mighty Knights Family.
17.01.2022 One of Estates FC’s 5 strategic pillars is Collaborative Partnerships and the club actively seeks out other community groups, charities, education providers and local businesses who not only bring us closer to our vision but enable us to contribute to theirs. The club is delighted to embark on a partnership with LiteHaus International, a for-purpose organisation improving educational experiences for young people in disadvantaged communities. This collaboration will:... Contribute to diversifying Litehaus International’s income streams Facilitate the delivery of sporting equipment and kits to disadvantaged youth here and abroad Enable the Estates FC community and locals to South Townsville to reduce our environmental impact The Litehaus International labelled container bin is located at the front of the Estates F.C. clubhouse and a guide to what is considered a suitable container can be found here: https://www.containersforchange.com.au/qld/how-it-works We encourage our Mighty Knights, our families and our communities to bring your empties to training and game days. South Townsville residents feel free to contribute and those of you enjoying a bevvy at the clubhouse make sure you recycle your empty and not put it in the regular trash! 15.01.2022 Congratulations to our Senior Men's team who have won the 2020 North Queensland Football 2nd Division League with 1 game still to play. Well done to all players and the coaches Matt and Ando.
14.01.2022 Congratulations to the 13 Queensland Football Clubs who have been approved for funding through the Gambling Community Benefit Fund. Estates F.C. has been successful in it's $35,000 application for further improvements to club facilities including new dugouts. The club would like to acknowledge and thank David McMahon from Sports Grants QLD for his invaluable assistance with the grant application process. Estates F.C. President paul neary adds "being successful for grants such... as this enables the club to increase capacity and quality of services we provide to our members, our families and our communities".
