24.01.2022 Did you know you could cook for a cause? Apparently, you can! Rotary of Elizabeth Quay (REQ) has chosen us to be one of 3 charities to give to, from their #comecookwithme Series. Wait... what series? And did someone say Italian food?! Oh YEAH... ... When REQ reached out to us and explained how this works we got super excited (and so did our bellies ). #Comecookwithme is a fun and interactive online cooking masterclass. Taught and delivered to you in the comfort of your own home by some of our most well-known chefs here in Perth! The Esther Foundation are grateful to be a part of REQ for their 4th episode of the "Come Cook With Me" series. Our chef is your chef We are ecstatic to announce your chef, the Godfather of Italian CuisineMatteo from Lasosta Fremantle If youre a visual person, check out this video here: https://youtu.be/laYuqreH35M You are invited We formally invite you to join our chef Matteo for his interactive online live gnocchi masterclass and cook for an amazing cause. Tickets are just under $12! For tickets and more info on how this works, see link: https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/come-cook-with-me-la-sosta- All proceeds from this event go to your charity of choice In choosing us, you are supporting the Esther Foundations internship program which sees some of our young women go from the streets and stuck in addiction; to becoming strong leaders who are empowered, equipped and educatedhelping others in community.

17.01.2022 Hi everyone, I want to introduce you to someone. Someone special. Meet Ash.... Ash is one of many fabulous girls here at The Esther Foundation. Shes an inspiring leader, is an intern in our Leadership program and she does everything with a finesse and style that is equalled by no one! Shes someone who has a big heart and always has an amazing attitude. Shes just one of those people. Today however... today is different. Today... Ash is sad When I asked Ash, "what is your winning formula to holding great posture, a positive attitude and; how do you know so much about fabulous fashion?" She said, "its simple. I start my day with some prayer and meditation. Then I go for a mind-cleansing run on the treadmill... e v e r y s i n g l e m o r n i n g After that, everything seems to fall naturally into place but... Today our one and only tread mill completely broke! Ladies and gentlemen, our only treadmill has pooped itself and has a one-way ticket to the tip! This is why Ash is so, so upset. This treadmill plays a huge part in the girls morning routines. Not all of them are into it, Ill be honestbut for those who are into it, it is absolutely sacred to them. The ability to run indoors, away from the elements is crucial. The ability to have some control in their health regime before embarking on big, full, life-changing days is vital. I ask you now. Friends and families. Ladies and gentlemen. The community... please help us turn Ashs frown upside down! The place is just not the same without our treadie going full tilt, providing a phenomenal service to the girls benefit. Some of the girls even miss the sound of it in the morning, seriously! WE NEED YOUR HELP! If you are someone who has a treadmill in good condition, thats just collecting dust, or knows anyone who has no need for theirs and is willing to donate... - Please contact us right away with your information CALL Frontdesk: 08 9368 6828 Marketing & Communications: 08 6298 0226 EMAIL [email protected] Subject: Turn Ashs frown upside down! We would love to receive a treadmill from you (in good nick) in an attempt to turn this frown upside down Alternativelyif youd like to support us in purchasing a new treadmill, please fee free to support us here, at: https://www.estherfoundation.org.au/donations/ Please tag a friend who knows the value of a morning run and share this post! Thanks for your support. Sincerely, The Esther Team

15.01.2022 Here at The Esther Foundation, we are so proud of the youth that reside in our program and continue to push through daily. The many struggles that our teens are facing today are having a huge impact on their ability to cope with life. The decision to commit to resuming their education as well as participating in a residential recovery program, is such a huge and commendable decision for these young teens. Here is just one testimony of one of the brave teens in our program...... Please feel free to leave an encouraging message for Rachel. (Note: Any negative comments will be removed) My name is Rachel, I am 17 years old. At the age of 15 I was shooting up meth and prostituting myself to support my drug habit. I was in a lot of domestic violent relationships and I didn’t care about anyone or anything, I was a very lost, hot-tempered girl, I would fight people just for fun, I would lie, steal, do as much crime as I could and abuse my family. I thought no one understood me but it was just me pushing God and all the help I needed away. My dad Graduated Shalom house, I always remember my dad telling me you can’t beat any addiction without God. This is my fourth time at Esther and I have now been here for 9 months. I have just progressed to stage 4 and I'm so proud of myself, its amazing how God has changed my life in such a short amount of time. I have restored my relationships with my family. In all of my darkest times God bought me back every time, you just have to want to change, trust in God and take one day at a time.

10.01.2022 Here at the Esther Foundation, We are so lucky to have the support of others. So... This year the staff team made a choice to collect the money that we would otherwise spend on a Secret Santa gift for each other, and bless someone else. We decided to donate the money to No Limits Perth a wonderful local charity who is working hard within the community to assist those in need. This morning Gill and Carla met with Janine Woods to deliver the donation direct!!! Merry Xmas #xmasdonation #helpingthoseinneed #localhelpinglocal
