13.01.2022 How strong is an ecoboard PART 2. Ran out of weight last time so gathered up some more, adjusted safety protocols and today we loaded 472kg. Yep, that's right 472kg! I reckon we could have made half a tonne but we ran out of weight so bounced it a bit to failure. The bang from the stored energy nearly blew out my eardrums. For the record this board was constructed with eps foam, 2mm paulownia parabolic stringers, 4mm deck, 2mm bottom and cork rails. No resin or fiberglass.
