19.01.2022 Where is your happy place? For our family, it's the sea. Our playground and place of peace. No matter the weather the pull to the water has always been strong. Wild Winter beach walks or long stretches of the day spent splashing in the bay, windsurfing or building sandcastles on the shore, Mother Nature never fails to nourish the soul. 17.01.2022 Did you know... is the question our daughter asks us every evening when we go in to kiss her goodnight. She is 13 and is obsessed with plants, soil, worms and all things horticulture. Her current bedtime reading is a wonderful book called ‘Habitat, a practical guide to creating a wildlife friendly Australian garden’ by AB Bishop (aka @thehabitatguru) and every night she tells us of some fascinating nature facts. We highly recommend you get your hands on a copy of t...his book if you haven't already. It is a wonderful resource that shows readers how to design, plant and maintain fauna-friendly landscapes for their own enjoyment and as a contribution to the health and sustainability of the environment. Perfect or those of us who want to encourage insects, reptiles, frogs, birds and animals into our garden. We are a family run Australian business, founded by husband & wife duo Jason & Andy (that’s us ) We make delicious, healthy and sophisticated non-alcoholic sparkling beverages using Australian native fruits and herbs.... We are passionate about Australian native edibles and are excited to be able to showcase some of the incredible flavours of these Australian plants. Many of which are just emerging in the broader Australian vocabulary but have been recognised for many thousands of years by First Nations peoples. ETCH - Our name is the acronym for EVERY TIME CHOOSE HEALTH. This is a daily reminder to us to always put our mental, physical and spiritual health first. (Has there ever been a better time than now to focus on this?). Even from this side of a screen you can the smell damp ground beneath your feet and and feel the leaves as they brush past you on your early morning stroll. This dreamy scene is painted by local Mornington Peninsula artist Jennifer Riddle Artist and has us feeling it all.
