16.01.2022 We have successfully run our first information session in March for our Volunteer and Grow program at Ethnic Community Services Cooperative. The program is designed to help people with disability and are eager to participate in society via volunteering. We have seen through our current participants the benefits of volunteering. The program gives our participants the opportunity to contribute to the society, and volunteer with an organisation that they feel passionate about. ... We would like to thank everyone that attended, and we look forward to more attendees in our next information session. The session covers their rights and responsibilities and how it will help them towards paid employment. The session is interactive and inclusive for all attendees. The program is working to help as many Australians with disability as possible. Please contact us if interested in volunteering or if you know someone that would be interested in volunteering. 15.01.2022 Last week ECSC celebrated Harmony Week by facilitating Being and Belonging Festival, a time to celebrate multiculturalism and unity together. We celebrated together through art, dance, music, food and more! Thank you to everyone who was involved and to those who celebrated with us.
