17.01.2022 At EDAC, we are very excited to add a new member to the team! Idil will be leading out the team of multicultural community connectors, whose role will be to connect with CaLD communities regarding the NDIS. Whilst Idils parents are Somalian, as a young girl she lived in many countries. However, her longest residing country was New Zealand, she lived there for over 16yrs and loved it! Idil tells us that the one thing she misses the most about New Zealand, is the Whnau (exten...ded family). In 2008, Idil and her family decided to cross the Tasman and move to Australia. Since her arrival, she has worked in many roles and several organisations, such as RMHC, Gumala Corporate, Indigenous Affairs and Legal Aid. In her spare time, Idil likes to help coach/manage her childrens soccer and basketball teams. Welcome Idil and we cant wait to have you and the community connectors out in the community, assisting those in need. (Image - face shot of Idil)
