11.01.2022 _ T U M B I C H U C U E _ by Tunjos y Cantaros Ethnologic Dance Company The children of the wind Ancestral Ritual thinking of Nasa People. Looking to reflect on the roots of #resistance as a #millennial generation. An action born in #Cauca, the heart of the Andes in Colombia,... in response to historical and geographical onslaught and conjuncture of violence on the children of this land. Their struggle as an indigenous community is a fight for protection and care of territory, a commitment to the sacredness of their cosmos-vision, a political-spiritual form of resistance based in their strong relationship with the nature. The Nasa yield a power to weave community to walk together through harmony and balance with their land. This dance shows how the NASA KUVX indigenous people, have been embracing #resistance a way of life, for the nourishment of their land, for the survival of their culture. It is a call of action to enable spiritual reconciliation to guard Mother Earth, to integrate a new world with ethics and values that recentre indigenous communities and territories towards a sustainable future caring for the environment. #Dance and #Music of #NasaNation from Northeast of #Cauca #Colombia Musical Interpretation by Banda de Flautas Chicha y Guarapo Musical Arrangement: Omar Romero Garay Sound Production : Sebastian Barahona Fashion Design: Tamara Aramat Dancers: Jeniffer Castillo , Kate Mugavin , Laura Benitez Director & Choreographer: Kathleen Gonzalez Photography by: Felipe Paz Giraldo THANKS HEAPS TO ALL THE ARTIST INVOLVED
