25.01.2022 You may not be aware, but the Worshipful Master of Lodge Ethos 963 has signed up to the Leukaemia Foundation World’s Greatest Shave. He is on a mission to shave the world from blood cancer. Please consider sponsoring him to give families facing blood cancer the emotional and practical support they need. You'll also fund vital research to help more people survive blood cancers, while improving their quality of life. Every day another 35 Australians are diagnosed with a blood ...cancer. That's one Aussie every 41 minutes. Although research is improving survival, sadly an Australian loses their life to blood cancer every two hours. 24.01.2022 Lodge Ethos will hold our first regular in-person meeting since February tonight. The WM and Officers have worked hard with the Canberra Masonic Centre to ensure that brethren can resume some activities in a COVID Safe way. Not everything will be the same. There will be no hand shaking or other ways of greeting each other that involve touch. This may be hard for some when you haven’t seen each other in some time. Our South and hospitality will be quite different too. You mu...st also let us know if you intend on attending, whether you’re a member or not. It is important to remember that you do not need to attend if you do not feel comfortable in the current circumstances. This is perfectly fine. The Worshipful Master and Wardens look forward to seeing as many of you as possible (that’s 24) this evening!

24.01.2022 A Happy New Year to all our members and friends. It’s a bit of a sad day given the Bushfire devastation on the South Coast. Our thoughts are with all those affected and their families. If you’re able, we encourage you to donate to a Bushfire Appeal, such as the Red Cross.

17.01.2022 18 of our Brethren met for the first time since February tonight. We ratified business conducted over the past months, balloted for two candidates who will join us in January, and received an affiliated brother. We also had a much needed presentation from our Lodge Education Officer with a good discussion that followed. It’s important to be safe in these COVID times. It’s good to be back!

16.01.2022 A wonderful night last night at Lodge Ethos! Our brother Ricky was raised to the sublime degree of a Master Mason. We welcomed an affiliating brother. $550 was raised for the Freemasons NSW & ACT Disaster Relief Fund. We had 6 sitting masters visiting (including 4 from Sydney Lodges, 1 from Braidwood and 1 from Bombala), and a Fraternal from our dear friends at Lodge Gowrie. It was a truly spectacular way to start the year!

13.01.2022 The quarterly Grand Communication was held last night, and a big congratulations goes to our Grand Master, Derek Robson, for his re-election as Grand Master. A special congratulations go to two of our members for the conferral of Grand Rank. Grand Rank conferral is an honour the Grand Master and Grand Lodge bestows on Masons who have made a significant contribution to freemasonry in our jurisdiction. Well done to both of you!

12.01.2022 Lodge Ethos held a great virtual meeting tonight with 16 members in attendance. After our business meeting, we had an interactive presentation from the Worshipful Master on etiquette and why we do some of the things we do. It was an enjoyable evening. Looking forward to meeting again soon in person!
