14.01.2022 A winery like no other has recently opened its cellar doors to the public. Alkina Winery situated in Greenock is an organic & biodynamic certified vineyard that uses regenerative farming techniques. Amelia Nolan is at the helm, working with huge amounts of energy & enthusiasm over the past 5 years to restore the 60 acre property. Whilst creating the wine (the Grenache is looking like the hero!) she was also managing the renovations to several tumbled down buildings to house... the cellar door & accomodation. A few months ago Amelia approached me asking if etienne would like a concept space within the cellar door, feeling very humbled & just a little bit excited I said would love to.. When you wander into the cellar door you will see the etienne offerings or as you enter the guest cottages our wares make their presence felt creating a sense of luxe.
