07.01.2022 As a community we have entered a very challenging and unprecedented period, but despite this, we know that oral health and hygiene still needs to be managed. We would like to reassure all our valued patients that attending our practice for dental treatment remains safe. Our existing extremely strict cross infection protocols together with newly implemented additional measures, greatly minimises the risk of transmission of COVID 19. We are spacing our appointments to allow ti...me for a thorough clean and disinfection of the non-clinical areas of the practice between patients (including, door knobs, eftpos machines, hard surfaces etc.). This measure also fosters social distancing by minimising the number of people in the practice at any one one time. Our practice might look a little more bare than usual as we have removed magazines, toys and other items which may be a source of transmission. Unlike practices in major shopping centres, we are lucky that the location of Ettalong Beach Dental is such that patients are able to park right out the front and avoid contact with large crowds.
