16.01.2022 Customers Ford Territory came in with high fuel consumption (customer claims18-20lt/100km when city driving) and engine light on with a catalyst fault. After thorough investigation, we came to the diagnosis that the catalytic convertor had failed due to high fuel pressure. We also found a vacuum leak along the way of our diagnosis. After repairs on the vehicle were complete a few days later the customer has returned to us stating her fuel consumption is now as low as 9lt/100k...m. After giving the customer a few different options, they decided to go with a low km pre-loved engine that we were able to refresh and swap out into the vehicle.
