25.01.2022 The emphasis of Svaroopa Yoga, Embodyment Therapy and Yoga Therapy is on the Undoing rather than Doing.. . and it is in the undoing that the changes come. Svaroopa is a practice where you don't have add anything in order to find an internal stillness and ultimately, living with less or no pain in your body. The spinal opening that Svaroopa Yoga brings forth is a meditation in itself and a gentle, nurturing way to support those who find it difficult to slow down their bodie...s and minds. Svaroopa makes you feel safe and at home in your body, making deep relaxation more possible, more regularly. There is no effort. The Yoga of Bliss.

24.01.2022 There are many ways to get past yourself, even temporarily. Many people rely on drugs, legal or illegal. Others go bungee jumping, rock climbing, parasailing or merely erupt in anger. Others rely on music, orgasms or overeating. To forget yourself, to get lost in an experience, to be blasted wide open, to soar past your own pain, fear and boredom you’ll do almost anything, even stupid stuff. Yoga is the smart way to do it. 18.01.2022 It is a glorious spring afternoon to welcome our second group of beginners to Svaroopa Yoga... and of course enjoy a chai. Here is my recipe: 2 slices (2.5cm each) fresh ginger ... 2 cinnamon sticks 2 tsp black peppercorns 10 whole cloves 6 cardamon pods 6 cups cold water 6 black tea bags 2 cups whole milk honey or maple syrup to taste Bruise spices, add water and boil. Reduce to low for 10 minutes. Discard tea bags. Add milk. Bring to simmer and serve. Add honey or syrup to taste. Enjoy Jules

10.01.2022 WHAT IS Svaroopa Yoga? Svaroopa (swa-roo-pah) yoga is a different and powerful style of yoga the gentle, therapeutic, blissful and supported poses allow profound healing on all levels. Svaroopa yoga is a unique approach releasing deep tensions in your spine working from your tailbone and upwards through the length of your entire spine - we call this ‘core opening’.... By using specific alignments and propping your body with blankets and blocks the poses enable you to become more open and flexible. Each class includes a guided awareness and relaxation, breathing and yoga poses. 07.01.2022 I’ve been on a healing journey for a few years now, after experiencing several years of chronic physical and emotional stress that created exhaustion and chronic pain in my body. I was intuitively drawn to Jules and her work as I was searching for a gentle and kind approach to continue my healing journey. During the session, I experienced a deep meditative state and felt my body relax in a way that I don’t remember experiencing for a very long time. Once the treatment was co...mplete, and my attention came back to the room, I had a profound awareness about my emotional healing journey that felt a little bit like coming home. As I was driving home, I experienced a surreal moment of peace and had a sensation as though my heart spontaneously opened and I could perceive ME. I could perceive the pure, authentic, vulnerable self. It was like being reacquainted with an old friend, one whom I had been missing and searching for, for quite a while. There were not fireworks or epiphanies, just a beautiful, calm heart opening moment and subtle changes have continued to flow through as I continue the journey. 02.01.2022 A series of Embodyment sessions is how I was introduced to Svaroopa yoga. I knew I found something deeply nourishing and healing. In an Embodyment yoga therapy session, the therapist places hands on specific areas of the spine as you rest fully supported in Shavasana, yoga’s relaxation pose. Embodyment yoga therapy releases tensions in the core of the muscular structure, creating a deeply restorative state that reaches beyond the scope of the yoga poses.... Based on the principles of Svaroopa yoga, this gentle, powerful therapy is well-suited to those with injuries or chronic pain, and for those in good health who want to take the next step toward optimum well-being. Depending on your condition, the therapy sessions may combine coaching in yogic breathing; receiving specific adjustments in well-aligned and fully supported yoga poses; and lying in the deeply restorative Shavasana pose to receive Embodyment yoga therapy. For those with injuries or chronic conditions, these sessions can provide relief from pain and speed healing.
