20.01.2022 Great day at the Mid North Golf Academy Competition at the Barossa Valley Golf Club Nuriootpa. The crew from Eudunda ventured down to be warmly welcomed by the Academy Chiefs Anne and James Evers and were pointed to the practice facilities for some much needed greens practice before taking on the challenge. Thank you to all involved for making it possible and we left the day very much appreciative of the chance to play and practice on the alternative to Slag Golf that we are much more familiar with.

17.01.2022 It has been said that a Golf Club and it's course is Great when one has completed the 18 holes and is still looking for more... Since going to the South East last week one such Golf Club and its course has to be the Robe Golf Club which for many years was a 12 hole course which had all the trimmings but after playing it there was an empty feeling but one thing is for sure that does not apply now what with the club now boasting 18 holes with the new 6 additional holes added t...o the score card. But might I say they have not just added any 6 holes, they have added 6 amazing holes. Well done to all involved who made it happen and to those who opposed the extension you were totally wrong because Robe now boasts one of the best country courses in the whole of Australia... where last weekend provided those who played the opportunity of playing in a completely full game of golf. Thank you Geoff Denning for the invitation and pleasure of playing your amazing golf course. Good Golfing in the future to all members involved and the visitors who take it on. See more

17.01.2022 Any Golf course but each evening when not somewhere else a walk/ride on the Eudunda Golf Course is mandatory after ride on mowing the 8th, 1st and 4 Scrape surrounds admiring the end result adding the sprinklers hitting balls back down the 1st suggesting it does not get any better than this... ...then this morning the golfing gods and Huey got together and added another 15ml of rain to the mix with more on the way - suggesting it can get better than that. 14.01.2022 As we get older warming up before a game and even a practice session becomes even more vital. I shutter to think how we can, could and do play without some kind of serious warm up. Clubs should provide better facilities to allow people to accept and make the warm up a bigger part of the game.
