25.01.2022 Well.. Still bunching. Lots for fishermans road tomorrow. Express lane at the back of of the stall to collect preorders, correct money. Lots of gorgeous bunches, rose plants, fruit plants, herbs and seedlings and heaps more!!! Double site so tons of flowers for Mothers Day! Dad has literally cut every flower we can pick! See you there. 7am till 12 noon.

24.01.2022 Fishermans road markets today open 7.00 to 12.00 Bunches of flowers. My cute prince proteas are opening this week. Dried bunches too. Heaps of seedlings herbs, fruit plants, succulents, some natives, protea and lots of indoor/shade plants.

21.01.2022 Delivery run update: orders close 11am today for trip $10/$20 delivery fee highway to Brisbane, west to Toowoomba, Kingaroy, Springsure, Mt Larcom, Gladstone, and east coast back to Eumundi. If your order is in and along this route we will be in touch later today. Nursery is open 11am to 3pm Tues to Sat.

20.01.2022 The post that got lost the other day. Congratulations Jess and Kristian!! A truly beautiful wedding. Gabbinbar Homestead; I'm speechless. Every old house lovers dream! My grandfather bought an old home when I was 11 years old with the same sort of potential. I will always wish I was older then with the means to bring it back to it's glory. Congratulations to the people who've done this at Gabbinbar. Truly a well-preserved building from Australia's better years. I so wish we could turn the clock back sometimes. For a moment in time I think we did. Thankyou so much Jess and Kristian for entrusting us with your dream. Nerve racking making sure it all happened but at the same time so much fun making it all happen and to see all those pretty flowers come together is a sheer delight. Like painting a picture. xxx. 20.01.2022 Update re Delivery of Plants: Roses, Citrus, etc. Order online and we deliver. Please check stock; inventory on site is not correct. BRISBANE WEST & EAST: Eumundi to Sunnybank and back via East Brisbane. Thinking Tuesday or Wednesday,/next week (Please observe strict social distancing as Brisbane is now declared a hot spot) Not sure which day but please get your orders in Pronto if you wish to take advantage while you can. Its $10 just off route or $20 a bit further. NORTH... WEST RUN: Eumundi to Gladstone and west to Banana/Springsure regions. Maybe Charleville if I can convince hubby and possibly home via Toowoomba. Well see. Yet to finalise plans. Costs as above. Order online, select special delivery run to take advantage of the special rates for the run. Thinking leaving Wed, back Friday next week at this stage. (If we can get all the prep work done first) Lots to do. Will confirm on facebook as the week progresses. All the roses are now potted. Bare Root are open for 2021 pre-orders via our website. Potted available via the website. Please email to check stock to [email protected] There are still about 2000 plus rose plants in stock. They now include bush and standard roses. The weepers are all now pre-order 2021. Unfortunately no stock of weepers this year. They didnt get enough growth and wont be dug till next winter. Please be patient for those. They will be bigger and so much better for waiting the extra year. Ill be contacting all of the orders for those individually. All the roses that are going to arrive are now here, so there are some that will dip out till next year and hopefully will have enough growth by then. Thankyou to all our wonderful customers who support us. Its been a difficult and trying season and immensely busy beyond belief. Our nursery is well stocked for the year and looking good from here in.

18.01.2022 A little bit of r & r after a huge week. Nearly home now. Beautiful sunset between Theodore and Eidsvold. Only short trips this year, but its been a lot of fun meeting people along the way and seeing all the lovely gardens. A massive thankyou to everyone along the way. Huge Thankyou to Fiona and Dad for holding the fort at home! Xx

18.01.2022 Sharing the love. As I look at my sore hands and aching body, the house is quiet and the tears roll down a tired and weary face. Another Mothers Day done and dusted. So many emotions all rolled into one. So many incredible highs. So many dreadful lows. My son I didnt get to see. My Mum who lives a hundred metres away; I gave my all to everyone but my Mum. 18.01.2022 Bunches, bunches and more bunches of flowers this week. Heaps for markets today! Herbs and Seedlings look great after the rain,and lots of me fruit plants. Hoping for a nice sunny, calm, busy day. 2 coldrooms full of flowers to sell this week! Yikes. Going to be heaps of flowers next several weeks. Loads of weddings we planted for now sadly postponed for second time. Need to sell the flowers. Stocks, lillies, natives, protea, delphinium mostly this week. Lisi and blue delphinium, roses coming soon!

17.01.2022 Super nice native and roses bunch. Very proud of the white king proteas we've grown. 90% our own product in this bunch! Will have protea plants to sell in the nursery Feb/April next year. So beautiful! The white roses are Pope John Paul.

13.01.2022 Really beautiful flowers this week. Lots of these still in my coldroom. Quiet day at markets with all the rain today. Very cold and wet. Hope everyone was tucked up warm. Thankyou to everyone who did brave the weather. Xx heaps of new rose plants available at nursery now. Will post some photos through the week. Cheaper as bareroot but only kept like that a very short time. Potted is best if youre not quite ready to plant. The web site is a bit behind on availability. There is heaps now.

11.01.2022 Info update for all our wonderful rose customers out there. My phone, facebook messages and email has been inundated with messages about roses on order. To give as many people as I can the information in one message: Im so sorry we just dont have time to reply to everyone at the moment. So.. this is the latest. We are processing lots of orders. As the bareroot roses arrive we let you know if your order is among them and when to collect so please keep a c heck on your mes...sages and emails for a notification. The potted roses are settling nicely in their pots. The roses this year are AMAZING. They look really healthy and once the plants show me they have established well enough we send them out. The bare root standards will arrive in about 2 to 3 weeks time, so if youve ordered those expect my message then. If youve ordered potted, expect those to be ready around the end of August. I will let you know. If by the end of August you havent been contacted or you think I should have contacted you Please send me an email. I can reply to those at 2am without waking anyone hopefully, cause thats when I find time for my paperwork. Please all be assured the orders are progressing nicely. The roses look incredibly healthy. The orders are processed according to when the roses are ready to leave. Some will be dug early in the season and some late in the season. and that in turn will determine when they will be received. 06.01.2022 Our regular rose and fruit etc plant delivery run is happening next week. Cost is $10/$20 per drop off. Ill add the run to the website delivery list. If youre close to the route its $10, within 20k of the route, its $20. Headed to Gold Coast region via Brisbane East and back via Brisbane West. Please order before Sunday this week. We have a lot of roses in stock, not all will be. Those out of stock note some second choice options in the comments section or we can back-ord...er for delivery next year if you note to do so. That is happening THIS MONDAY coming. Later in the week Wed/Thurs/Fri at this stage our run is on for Hervey Bay/Maryborough/Bundaberg/Gladstone/Banana... maybe Springsure and Charleville, Toowooma and back home to Eumundi. Orders for this run in by TUESDAY coming. Thats the plan. We will be notifying all orders of the date and time well be there when we get closer. Ill have to see how our week pans out. 03.01.2022 Sometimes you just have to wonder! Dad and I looked out the polyhouse this week. Couldnt believe our eyes. Last week we lost our beautiful best friend, Jax. This week out of the Singapore daisy and all the rubbish of what was once a rose garden emerged these stunning flowers. The bushes were near dead. The hot pink rose is called " Gift of Grace" Dad and I couldnt believe our eyes. It was the size of a bread and butter plate! We turned around and a whole cluster of gorgeous... soft marshmallow flowers, and along the path another beautiful sight. Unbelievable! Flowers Ive never seen that size on those bushes. I read the words my beautiful cousin wrote for me on the website quite some time ago. Makes you wonder doesnt it? But there will come a time, youll see, with no more tears. And love will not break your heart, but dismiss your fears. Get over your hill and see what you find there, With grace in your heart and flowers in your hair. Mumford and Sons You dont have to be religious to understand the concept of grace. So, while this exceptionally beautiful deep pink rose with an underside of silver was originally produced to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Uniting Church in Austral-ia, the symbolism which speaks of an aspiration for lives filled with love, peace, joy and serenity is universal.
