22.01.2022 Wed like to thank the community for their ongoing support as we do our best to provide our essential services. We are currently struggling a little with supplies for our takeaway food and a few of you have noticed changes to the food we are cooking. Unfortunately COVID19 has had a massive impact on our wholesale suppliers and they have been forced to reduce stock as demand decreases. This has impacted on our ability to provide consistent products particularly fish and chicken. Our intention will be to return to your favourite products as soon as our suppliers restock. At this stage there have been no impacts on our burgers or our hot chips.

21.01.2022 It's now market week EVERY week! Our Farmers Market is now weekly on Friday's from 2.30pm to 5.30pm If you can't get there you can now order a Market Box!! Just message us and you can decide how much you want to spend! Too easy!

We are remaining vigilant cleaning surfaces, door handles and eftpos machines, washing hands, signing for all parcels and trying to maintain our distance. * We are making every effort to keep our stock levels up. At this stage we have doubled our bread and pie orders and increased our milk delivery. * The takeaway will still open on Fri...day, Saturday and Sunday unless we are instructed otherwise. This is only a small store so please respect other customers by maintaining a 1.5m separation. 13.01.2022 KITCHEN TEMPORARILY CLOSED. We have been battling a leaking roof since the rain started. Unfortunately our temporary fix failed in yesterdays heavy rain making the kitchen unsafe for us to work in forcing us to close until we get a new roof. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and we will be working to reopen as soon as we possibly can. At this stage the shop will be open but the kitchen closed this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. January 2021 from 8.30am to 2.00pm. The theme of the day is "Reflect. Respect. Celebrate" and we will take time to do all of those. There will be a smoking ceremony, a space to reflect your thoughts on our nation and a citizenship ceremony to celebrate our newest citizens. Plus there will be market stalls with handcrafted, locally made goods and produce, food trucks, two BBQs, and Unkya's famous canteen with amazing coffee and home-baked goods. Still want more? The Donovan Band will be playing throughout the day - this is a widely acclaimed Aboriginal country music band - with local Donovans! Plus listen to 2NVR-FM who will be doing an outside broadcast What about the kids? How about free face painting, balloons, and free rides including a jumping castle, tea cups and a train.
