24.01.2022 Boundaries..... A nice reminder for me this week. This is something I’ve struggled with in the past and even now at times. It’s doing what’s right for you, and giving yourself the time and space to make a conscious choice to do things. It’s not selfish it’s necessary. Sometimes when we say yes to things without thought we sacrifice our time and energy that might be needed somewhere else more, and by saying yes what am I saying no to?

17.01.2022 What’s your ripple? I was chatting with a beautiful friend the other day and the conversation was about generosity and the ripple effect.... How can we be more generous? ... So I then thought it would be fun to share this with my kids and teach them about the ripple effect. (Once we got over the explanation of what the word ripple even meant first, that was a challenge in itself.... )The rock in the water showing the ripples did the trick! What we project out to the universe it ripples through our life, with positive and negative impact. My example for the kids was when someone smiles at you what do you do? They said smile. So we had some fun with this, we’ve put the ripple to the test! We got out at a friends place we all smiled and were oozing joy and happiness, I even got a dad mimic my dance moves! Whether we recognize it or not the Ripple Effect is happening right now! How about the ripples your releasing at your place of work in your friendships with extended family. There are ripple effects even in our own thinking. We let wrong thoughts exist and they ripple across our mind and rob us of joy and creativity. Use the Ripple Effect to your advantage. Consider each day what positive ripples you can create in your personal and professional life. It’s fun and quite effective! How do you want to feel? Ripple that!

13.01.2022 There’s been soo much buzz about reiki lately, so I thought I’d share some light Reiki is a hands on energy healing modality. When translated Reiki means spiritually guided life force energy. People and animals are more than physical beings. We have a dense physical body that is immediately perceptible by sight and touch, but we also have 3 other bodies. These non visible, non physical bodies are energy levels comprised of ki that direct the state of the physical body. Wher...e medicine treats only the physical body, Reiki treats all four energy body’s! In the example of a headache taking an aspirin may relieve the head pain but does nothing to treat the source and the pain is likely to return. Reiki deals not only with the evident pain but with the cause of the pain. Reiki is being used and combined with modern medicine in health departments and in hospitals around the world. 08.01.2022 Tomorrow we step into spring! who can feel it? Those beautiful sunny day’s, blue sky’s and garden’s in full bloom.... isn’t it amazing! I love spring and all that it brings to the soul.... These last months have been pretty heavy with covid and cold and flu season, so it’s time to cleanse and renew. Let go of what no longer serves you and set intentions for the season ahead I like to take a swim in the lake and feel all that heaviness wash over me.... Then take a moment to centre myself and be grateful for where I am on my journey and the experiences that have come my way. Celebrate my growth and reflect on what has been.
