24.01.2022 Alex lost tonight to a very good boxer from Great Britain.It was a classy bout fought at high intensity,Alex had plenty of good moments landing several body shots,lead hooks etc, showed good footwork, head movement,but in the end came up a bit short.I can not say how proud I am of Alex,who will have learnt a lot from this bout and is already looking to the future.Thanks to all of you who support this bloke, believe me the best is yet to come.Also thanks to the Coaches of our boys at the World Titles,especially W.As Sean Nash,who always has our boxers best interests at heart. cheers

19.01.2022 Alex has just achieved his 4th Australian Title which puts him in the Australian team to head to China to fight in the Olympic qualifiers. He boxed beautifully over 2 days against quality opponents to win his place in the Australian team. Everyone here at Eureka Boxing Club are very proud of our 52kg warrior.

13.01.2022 A big win to Alex Winwood last night against the champion from Hong Kong at the Asian Olympic Qualifiers. Alex will front up against the Thai champion tomorrow night. Best of luck Alex, we are all right behind you.

08.01.2022 Alex off to Canberra tonight for a training camp. Will be fighting in Jordan at the Olympic qualifiers 3rd-11th next month. Got in some great rounds this morning with 2 very good fighters, Jackson Jon England and world ranked TJ Doheny.
