15.01.2022 This Hinterland Heartbeat art exhibition at Montville is well worth stopping by this long weekend. I have been told that the Maleny area has one of the biggest communities of artists in Australia. With such beautiful scenery I can see why. I just love that you can drop by and find such great pieces by local artists at affordable prices. It will run from October5-7 from 9.30am-4pm each day at St Mary's Hall on the Green at Montville. The exhibition has been organised by the Blackall Range Visual Artists. Admission is free. While there I would recommend dropping by the pop-up art gallery on the main street of Maleny. Some really great pieces are for sale. There is also an open studios scheme going but I haven't checked that out yet.

04.01.2022 Excited to be going to this exhibition on the Sunshine Coast for the first time this October. It will feature a viewing of artworks from the Ken Hinds collection, which includes work by Brett Whitely, Sidney Nolan, Arthur Boyd and Clifford Possum. It will be interesting to see some of the other art on display, including by local artists.
