19.01.2022 We are pleased to announce that we have commenced planning our 2021 Hobart Doll Show. The dates will be 18 & 19 September 2021 - the venue has been tentativel...y booked, once this is finalised we will let you know. The theme for the show is as we had intended for this year "Back to School". More details will follow in due course.

18.01.2022 Goes without saying, hope everyone is well and getting through this worrying time OK. As most would be aware all Eureka doll groups are cancelled until further notice, will keep everyone informed. PLEASE NOTE .... Both Catherine Mather workshops, the bonnet one 'Orange Blossom Delight' and 'Ivory Satin Bridal Shoes' have both been cancelled for the moment. Catherine has suggested that she could offer a substitute hat making alternative in the form of a video and kit for the 'Orange Blossom Delight'. No other details available at the moment. She is unable to offer the same for the Bridal Shoes as that type of workshop is very hands on, but maybe in the future when we come out the other side of this worrying time, we can look at scheduling that workshop again. Please let me know if you would like more information about the bonnet workshop substitute, I don't know much more at the moment, but an idea of the number of those interested in doing it would help when I am speaking with Catherine. All the best to the doll makers out there, the upside may be that this might give us an opportunity to finish all those "UFO's" that have been haunting us. Try and have fun, look after yourselves and your loved ones, looking forward to getting back to things in the not too distant future. Sue Robinson

17.01.2022 Thank you to Lyn Inglish for these beautiful flowers she presented to each of the outgoing committee members of the Northern Tasmanian Dolls, Bears and Miniatures at the committee's penultimate meeting on Saturday 29th February. It was a little premature, we are not 'gone' yet, but thank you very much. Mine look and smell beautifull in the studio Lyn.

06.01.2022 After trying to sort the studio and organise the sewing room, need a distraction, so trying to get those 'five dolls done in a month', (get what I mean)? Well one is completed, not dressed, but don't get carried away, will keep on posting as they get completed. Eureka girls, don't be shy, how about posting your isolation dolls or projects here too. Would love to see what you've all been doing while we keep in touch in anticipation of getting back to doing dolls!! Here is Oliver, body not great, but we all look better clothed, glad to see him finished waiting for his undies and suit.

06.01.2022 Great entry Leonie
