19.01.2022 Did You Know the true colour of the Original Australian Flag? This is the Red Ensign Flag, used by the ANZAC Army units that fought in World War 1 and some units in World War 2. This was the Civilian Flag and in 1954 the Flag was changed by then Prime Minister Menzies to represent the Merchant Navy and was never used for land purposes again. The Blue Ensign was adopted as the National Flag from then on. Not Gardening but a bit of Australian History

16.01.2022 Hi Everyone, just posting some pictures of our garden at the moment. It's been a very busy start to the year and we are hearing some great success stories. We are now collecting coffee grinds and scraps from the City of Swan and turning it into beautiful compost. Over the years we have stopped thousands of tons of green waste/by-products from our area and surrounding area's, ending up at the tip as land fill. Thanks to everyone for your support over the years because it's obvious without your ongoing support, we couldn't do what we do

15.01.2022 Hi everyone, just planted some more Tomatoes and already they are zinging along. The method i am using here is to utilise all the subsidiary roots from the stem and boost the production of fruit. Remove the lower leaves along the stem and leave just the top part of the Tomato. I dug a hole approx 250mm to 300mm deep and incorporated some Black Gold( our compost) blood and bone and Sulphate of Potash with existing soil. Place your Tomato in the hole and backfill so the top of... the plant is poking out the top. I am using a drip system on them because i don't want to get the leaves wet, they don't like it. Water in and watch it grow See more

14.01.2022 Spring has sprung! Time to get your soil sorted for all the lovely things you can plant now. Eureka has a great range of new season veg and herb seedlings including advanced heirloom tomatoes. Come and get them while stocks last.

12.01.2022 Hi Everyone, the 25th of April is a very special Day to Australians and New Zealanders. It's a Day we show Respect to the past and present Service Men and Women of our Country. It's a time when we reflect on those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our Freedoms. This song is for all those Hero's that have Served, Thankyou...
