25.01.2022 Day 3. Cliffords Honey Farm, Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Oil Distillery, a beautiful little park at American River and retail therapy time in Kingscote. Such a lovely day topped off with another amazing meal last night.

25.01.2022 Day 2 Dinner under the stars. Oh my gosh...when the girls from the Roxby Downs Visitors centre said they would do a sunset walk and dinner I was expecting maybe a sausage sizzle but we got this beautiful camp oven dinner complete with linen tablecloth and silver cutlery. You excelled yourself girls. What a magic night with Olympic Dam lighting up in the distance while we dined in the Arid Recovery lands.

24.01.2022 Sadly, our fabulous tour has come to an early finish as we return home before SA completely locks down at midnight tonight. We’ve had a wonderfully short time away and are looking forward to getting out and about again..when we can.

24.01.2022 This may be your last chance to book as the tour is fast approaching. Contact us on 8262 4001 to book, there are only a few rooms left.

23.01.2022 Fantastic day 1 of our first ever Easter tour. Morning tea at Tailem Bend, a short stop at the beautifully manicured Jubilee Park at Millicent, a look at the incredibly talented wood sculptures at Father Woods Park and finally arriving at the lovely Commodore on the Park at Mt Gambier. Our home for 3nights. Top day with wonderful passengers.

23.01.2022 Stokes Hill Lookout provided great views of the Flinders Ranges when we visited there on our Quorn and Flinders Ranges tour.

23.01.2022 We ventured south today on the back roads and marvelled at this man made channel, dug out in 1957 by two men and this machine to drain excess water off the land.

22.01.2022 More photos from our Roxby Downs tour. This day we explored Woomera. Two of our passengers had lived there previously so we had 2 wonderful "local guides". Thank you Carol and Annie.

21.01.2022 Yesterday in Mt Gambier was another great day. The lake was its stunning vivid blue, Umperston Sinkhole was so beautiful, as always and we saw where the very talented James Morrison's music Academy was whilst visiting the Cave Gardens at night.

19.01.2022 There are still a few seats left for this fun day. Come along and find out why we enjoy this day so much.

19.01.2022 The Homestead from the Swan Reach Station was converted into the Swan Reach Hotel many years ago. Not only is the food delicious and the view lovely but the ambience of an old homestead still exists.

19.01.2022 Letting everyone know that due to a cancellation we now have two seats available for our Christmas in July tour on the 10th of July. Same itinerary as the one on the 29th of July. Go to our events page to see the details or call us on 8262 4001 for more information. Its one of our most popular tours.

18.01.2022 Our recent tour to "Support the Adelaide Hills" had us visiting some very lovely "hills" places. Lobethal bakery, Cuddlee Cafe, Melbas and Woodside cheesewrights, as seen in this photo. It was so nice to be able to support a community that has been doing it tough.

18.01.2022 The most perfect weather to be at beautiful Bungaree Station today. Ahh " the serenity".

18.01.2022 We visited Gladstone Gaol, last used as a gaol in 1975. The history and stories were interesting and horrific at the same time. Not somewhere I would ever like to stay.

18.01.2022 The rainy day didn’t dampen our spirits as we explored Nairne and the many murals in the town.

17.01.2022 Quorn was once a thriving railway town, with up to fifty trains a day travelling through it at its peak.

17.01.2022 From my balcony. Another beautiful sunrise over American River. Good morning to another great day on KI. Love my job.

16.01.2022 See the amazing Light show on the Quorn Silos when you come on our Quorn and Wilpena Pound in the Flinders Ranges tour departing on 15th September 2020. Its another great reason to join the tour. Come and have fun with us.

16.01.2022 We are spoiled with our meals here at the Mecure. This was last night's dinner. Presentation is the best I've had anywhere.

14.01.2022 Due to the new restrictions announced yesterday, the tour to Carrick Hill & Belair on 26th November has been postponed until further notice. Carrick Hill is regretfully not able to accomodate our tour group and meet the new SA Health requirements. Updates to follow as time progresses.

14.01.2022 A preliminary notice!! Many of you would have listened to me rave about the Avalon Air Show, one of the greatest shows you will see. It happens bi-annually and was to have been held next February 2021. However due to the huge logistics of making it happen, and uncertain times, it has now been postponed until November 2021. We will be doing a tour to this amazing show but it will now be from 23rd- 28th November. Put this in next years diary as the one you must not miss .. best fireworks ever on the Friday night. More details later in the year.

13.01.2022 Well...today has been an interesting one hasn't it. Started off normally with our first stop at beautiful Vivonne Bay and then onto the amazing Raptor Domain. While having our lunch there the day took a dramatic turn. We had to find a way to get off the island before midnight. After a few anxious calls we were booked onto the Sealink Ferry at 5.30pm. Just enough time to visit our last stop of Seal Bay and then a very quick pack up and off to Penneshaw to catch our ferry. A great big Thankyou to all my wonderful passengers who rallied around and we made it all happen. It's been a privileged to get to know you all better and you have been a pleasure to travel with.

09.01.2022 Early morning walk in Robe. Just me ... no one else, not even a seagull.

06.01.2022 Last week we had an amazing tour to the Outback. Day1 we made a stop at Snowtown to see the "big blade". Part of one of the giant wind turbines and also found the huge patches of Sturt Desert Peas just this side of Roxby Downs. We even found the white one. It was five years ago since these patches floweted like this. So lucky to see them. Day 2 was a trip to the Opal mining town of Andamooka. A big Thankyou to our local guides Conan and Leila. You cant beat local knowledge. A film crew were making a documentary about the first female opal miner Minnie Berrington and we were privileged to sit in on the taping of an interview with a dear old lady who grew up with Minnie as a child.

Admirals Arch, Remarkable rocks, Wiers Cove and the stunning beach on the other side of the "hole in the rock" at Stokes Bay. It's also wonderful to see how Flinders Chase is regenerating. Mother nature hard at work

06.01.2022 An amazing trip to the Outback recently. We travelled to places such as Marree, Lyndhurst, Wilpena Pound, Quorn, Peterborough...and the list goes on. Beautiful country with so much history. Isnt South Australia just the best.

05.01.2022 Larry the Lobster stood tall and proud at Kingston in the south east. He is 17 metres high and 13 metres long. That’s a lot of lobster, especially when it sells for $110 per kilogram.

04.01.2022 Today we spent a beautiful day cruising on the River Murray at Mannum. Chad and the Four Knots Boat crew provided so many interesting details about the bird life and we had delicious apple and cinnamon muffins for morning tea. Yummy.

04.01.2022 Kanyaka Homestead ruins showed us how big the homesteads were back in their hey day. Thank you Amanda Richter for recommending this beautiful location.
