16.01.2022 For a good cause!

15.01.2022 What an honour it is to have the under 16s Best and Fairest award named the Scott Watson medal after our club President Watto. Any one who knows Watto would know It is extremely fitting that he be recognised in this way. The passion that he has for participation and country football, particularly junior football, is surpassed only by the amount of hours and work he has contributed to continue its development! Now all we need is some Euroa boys to get their names on it!

15.01.2022 2021 keeps on getting better!

15.01.2022 Our AGM will be a Covid Safe meeting on Monday 30th November - 7pm . We hope to see you there!

14.01.2022 Whilst very disappointing to not have any games to play tomorrow EFNC is fully supportive of its league and Board and understands how difficult this decision must have been. To our players, families, supporters and hard working coaches and committee we will press on as a collective, always placing everyones health and well being at the fore. Go Pies!

12.01.2022 It was a very warm day at Memorial Oval today as we played host to Tatura FNC in our first home game for 2021! Three wins from the eight games for Euroa, with Seniors, Reserves and under 16s getting the job done. The seniors were able to win comfortably with a number of new players taking the field for the first time. ... EUROA: 12.13.86 TAT: 7.6.48 Best players: Jayden Gleeson, T Davies, L Hill, J Trotter, N Stewart and D Garside. Goal Kickers: Jayden Gleeson 3, T Davies 3, J Trotter 2. The Reserves boys had a convincing win against an undermanned Tatura side. EUROA: 21.13.139 TAT: 0.2.2 Best players: B Allen, P Cairns, C Bamford, Z Gleeson, Unfortunately the thirds went down in a hard fought battle. EUROA: 10.10.70 TAT: 12.8.80 Best players: Josh Robinson, Ben Bath, Nick McCabe, Nick Asquith. The under 16s started their season with a fantastic win. EUROA: 28.24.192 TAT: 0.0.0 Best Players: Sam Leigh, Will Creevy, Charles Thompson, Nic Butler It was a very close contest in every grade over on the netball court! A grade unfortunately unable to get over the line and drew with Tatura 49 all. Eliza Hoare had an absolute blinder and was well supported by Bree Poole and Kellie Davdison! Massive congratulations to Millie Watson and Sienna Trotter who made their debut for A grade and had amazing games! B grade were unable to hold on to their third quarter lead and ended up going down by two, 28-30. Zara Hinss was back to her best and Megan O Bree and Katy Frewen were reliable as ever in the defensive circle! B res was another close game but Tatura got the chocolates with a 28-33 result! Mahoney Fothergill tied both ends together with a fantastic performance in centre while Mary Frewen and Ash Wilde supported her from defence and goals. The young Under 17 girls played a super game only to lose by 2 in the dying minutes of the game scoring 22-24. Sienna Trotter had a million turner overs in defence while Molly Redfern converted those in Goals! Laura Frewen also turned it on while under pressure. Under 15s had a fantastic game for a lot of their first times playing GVL! Unfortunately, again Tatura were too strong finishing 24-26. Tayla Seeber dominated in center while Chloe Salter and Lily Fowler held down the defensive circle. 03.01.2022 GOTAFE GVL Juniors Competition Update The GOTAFE Goulburn Valley League (GVL) remains committed to running a modified junior competition for our Under 16...s and Under 18s football and 15 & under and 17 & under netball. At our last Presidents meeting, a working group made up by club representatives and GVL Board members, was formed to work through the action plan to return to play. At that stage, we were working towards a start date of 18 July. After deliberations, it was decided to push the start date back to 25 July. The reasoning behind this is to allow clubs and the league time to correctly implement the updated Return to Play Protocols that were released earlier this week by AFL Vic and today by Netball Victoria. The working group, chaired by GVL Board Member Amy Marshall, will seek feedback from clubs and will then reconvene to make their final recommendations to the GVL Board. GVL Board Member Amy Marshall said, The working group meetings have been extremely productive. We are all working towards the same goal with that goal being to encourage participation for our juniors. It has been really pleasing to see everyone come together to formulate the way forward to ensure that this happens. GVL Operations Manager, Josephine Spencer said, How a GVL Juniors competition will look will be dependent first and foremost on State Government advice. We hope to be able to release details around how the competition will look as well as the fixtures as soon as possible. We know from feedback from clubs, that our juniors are ready to play, and we are doing all we can to ensure that we have everything in place at league level and club level to ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone. #GVLJuniors #GVLUpdate Echuca Football Netball Club Rochester Football Netball Club Kyabram Football Netball Club Mooroopna Football Netball Club Tatura Football Netball Club Seymour Football Netball Club Shepparton United Football Netball Club Shepparton Swans Shepparton Football Netball Club Benalla Saints Mansfield Football Netball Club Euroa Football Netball Club
