FESTIVAL COMING SOON Welcome to our first edition of "Good Vibrations" brought to you by the team at Euroa Music Festival.... Well it would seem that we chose the wrong year to host our first music festival. After months of planning and hard work, and just as we were starting to lock away headline artists for the festival, the dark corona clouds have blanketed the globe. Anyone with any plans has been impacted. Who would have thought in 2020 we'd have no AFL footy, no Grand Prix, no Wimbledon, no Olympics... no Euroa Music Festival?!! But don't fret, the Euroa Music Festival will be going ahead! It's just that the scheduled date for our inaugural event will be announced as soon as we have clarity around restrictions being lifted. We had originally planned to hold the festival on the 16-18th of October 2020 but we think it is unlikely that restrictions will be lifted to the point that we can host 1000 plus punters rubbing shoulders together at a music festival in under six months time. Although this is a shade disappointing we're taking the positive approach. Can you imagine the buildup of excitement when restrictions are finally lifted? The simple things we have enjoyed for so many years have no doubt been taken for granted. Eating and drinking with friends and family, barracking for your favourite team at the footy, playing sport, and enjoying live music gigs are just some of these things. We reckon by the time restrictions are lifted, people will be chomping at the bit to get out and about. I kind of feel we'll all have to make up for lost time. In fact it feels like the Euroa Music Festival has timed it's inaugural event just perfectly. Just the thought of a music festival in Euroa, after months of being at home and isolated with no fun, makes us get very excited about our big live music event. So sit tight, stay safe in isoaltion, and be comforted by the fact the Euroa Music Festival will be going ahead. Be back in touch soon. x
