24.01.2022 EUROGLIDERS WE WILL TOGETHER MTV NEW YEAR’S EVE 1984/85 Please ‘SUBSCRIBE’ to my YouTube Channel..there’s a heap of classic Eurogliders and Grace Knight videos !! We were on tour in Australia & New Zealand in December 1984 and we scored a spot on MTV’s New Year’s Eve show in New York with a worldwide TV audience of around 65 million. We interrupted the tour, jumped on a plane, flew to New York, did the show, flew back and resumed the tour. We did a five song set as it turned midnight on the West Coast. The first couple of times we did Countdown we lip-synced to one of our songs and looked like we were playing live. By the time we did this they were doing things more like video clips. I have little to no memory of anything to do with the making of this clip other than I remember they supplied us all with the nighties and pyjamas. I’m guessing the word ‘dream’ in the song title was where they got the inspiration for having us all on a bedwho knows. ‘Maybe Only I Dream’ was the 4th single from the ‘This Island’ album. 01.01.2022 EUROGLIDERS WITHOUT YOU (COUNTDOWN) Hey music fans, please ‘SUBSCRIBE’ to my YouTube Channel..there’s a heap of classic Eurogliders and Grace Knight videos !! Between 1982 and 1985 Eurogliders did Countdown a heap of times including guest hosting the show four times. This video is from late 1982 and was our second appearance, the song is ‘Without You’ which was a single taken from our first album.
