06.01.2022 A tip that main dealers are very unlikely to tell you about! If you visit main dealers for servicing and they find issues that are costly not only as I've mentioned should you ask for discount but you should also always ask/insist that the repairs needed should not be so expensive or that the parts should last much longer (which I think is true in many cases). Dealers have a very large goodwill budget to keep customers happy so you'll find you'll get anything from 10% to 100...% off of your repair bills! Give it a try and please post feedback on my page. Please like and share my page to allow friends family and fellow European Car drivers to save $$
01.01.2022 How to easily save on repair costs Below is a blog from my website that gives great advice on saving money on repairs (especially with main dealers) My experience has taught me a lot about the automotive industry, and let me tell you: There are huge amounts of savings to be made and they are ridiculously simple to achieve.... When taking your car to any reputable dealer or repairer for repairs you are always given quotes for any additional problems that may be found. By asking a few simple questions you will save yourself a small fortune and, in some cases, a lot of your time too. Here is a scenario to consider: Q: Your suspension Bushes are worn and need replacing, the cost is $500, would you like us to carry out the repairs? A: How worn are they? How many kilometers could they last? That’s expensive I will do the repairs with you if you can do it for $400? Asking these questions almost every time will allow you to make a more informed decision as in many cases the worn parts may easily last until your next visit which will give you the best value from these parts as well as saving you the time needed to replace them. Always barter with repair costs, as the repairer will not want you to take the vehicle elsewhere. Trust me; they have targets they have to meet, even if that means giving things away. Please feel free to share this information to all you know and in return I'd love some feedback on my FB page as to how you all went.
