21.01.2022 MAN.... what a day. We finally had a chance to spend time with Australia's MAN 4x4 expert Callie, and boy does he know his way around these things. The run through went like clockwork, as we learnt what we needed for our upcoming build. These vehicles are on another playing field entirely, and built to a standard no one else can match by a substantial margin. A VERY SUBSTANCIAL margin...... I could not fault a single thing with the truck, or the spec level. German quality t...hroughout. Engineering that looks like it was done with experience and passion, rather than a tight budget and 'new grads'. I'll let the photos talk. Standard wheelbase, Expedition Spec. This is the sleeper cab version, in olive green. These tyres measure 43" tall in the old money. 630L of fuel on this new facelift model, and 65lt of Adblue. No DPF, No EGR. 15.01.2022 Well just like John Farnham, we're back building another Iveco motorhome....I know we said it was our last tour, but here we are.... It is a solid axle, so there is no need to panic! This one will be extra special though, as we are returning to our roots and building it on a dual-cab. We will be showcasing our sheetmetal abilities, and there will be a LOT of new products on this one that will carry over to our caravans and canopy's. Just waiting for our new laser cutter to turn up......For now, a photo of our first dual cab back in 2014!

05.01.2022 Got our tube laser up and running tonight at 6:30pm. So damn excited....A culmination of many, many months of effort. We can cut up to 170x170mm square, 6500mm long so plenty of options for RV chassis parts etc. This sample was 32mm Aluminum. A big shout out to my wife for the endless enthusiasm and support with making such a big time and capital investment. ... Paula's exact words after about a one minute of discussion back in July 2020 were... "You have a lot of stupid ideas, but this is a great one, just do it"...... Big thanks for your efforts too Parky!
