09.01.2022 Bulgogi (Korean BBQ Beef) . Course: medium serving: 4 . Ingredients: 600g thinly sliced beef (rib eye or top sirloin)/ 1 carrot/ 1 onion/ 3 scallions/ 3 mushroom cap/ 3 chilli peppers(optional)... . Marinade: 4 Tbsp soy sauce/ 2 Tbsp minced garlic/ 2 Tbsp cooking wine/ 2 Tbsp sesame oil/ 2 Tbsp brown sugar . 1. Dry the beef with kitchen towel and then slice into a generous bite sizes. Marinate the beef with the marinade sauce above for about 10 min. 2. While marinating the beef, thinly sliced onion, mushroom, carrot, and scallions. 3. Add the veggies into the beef bowl and put soy sauce (4 Tbsp), brown sugar (1 Tbsp), oyster sauce (2 Tbsp) into the bowl and mix it well together. 4. Stir-fry the ingredients in a preheated wok or frying pan on medium-high heat. 5. When the ingredients are cooked well taste it and if it’s bit salty add some water. 03.01.2022 Korean vegetable porridge . Ingredients: cooked rice 1 cup/ water 2 cups/ carrot-small piece pointer-finger length/ zucchini-small piece pointer-finger length/ onion 1/2 a whole/ portobello mushroom 2 whole (optional) . Seasoning: sesame oil 1 tablespoon/ minced garlic 1 tablespoon/ salt 1 tablespoon/ Gim 3-4 sheets (garnish)... . Instructions 1. Dice the carrot, zucchini and mushroom. 2. Into a large pot medium heated, place in sesame oil (1 tablespoon) and minced garlic (1 tablespoon). Mix with a spatula until it is sizzling. 3. Add in the chopped onions and carrots. Mix it around with medium heat until the onions turn translucent. 4. Then add in the cooked rice (1 cup). Stir well to mix everything evenly. 5. Add 1 cup of water, stirring occasionally until most of the liquid has evaporated. Do not forget to stir. 6. Then add another cup of water. When it’s boiling, add the zucchini and mushroom. Season with salt (1 tablespoon). Stir until most of the water has boiled off. 7. Scoop into a bowl and garnish it with pieces of Gim. .
