16.01.2022 Miss Maia Is sitting at Murray equine as our test mare for Louie’s recent frozen semen collection. Looking forward to hearing how Maia progresses as I took her up on day 1 of her cycle and really excited to have a confirmation of Louie’s current batch of straws in storage

12.01.2022 Stallion Appreciation post Louie you make my heart sing with absolute pride and joy always! But yesterday morning at 5am i asked you to load into the float for another 3 1/2hour drive when I only just got you home 4 days ago and then i loaded a mare that was in season on next to you who’s working on some confidence issues travelling and loading. Not only did you not show any stallion tendencies, no talking, no puffing of chest..nada you also held her held when she was fe...eling unsure. Not reacting when she reached across and stole your hay because it was yours (even though hers was closer) after talking to the mare owner, I think it’s safe to say that travelling with Louie was the most relaxed she has been in a very long time. And that makes me so proud that not only are you my rock but you share your strength and confidence with your gorgeous energy! Looking forward to seeing your foal next year As you all know my preference is now AI and these two are now settled into Murray Equine. Also adding onto the love for Louie. A Murray equine staff member assured me he was their favourite stallion for the 2020 breed season (happy dance- I love knowing you Love my horse, because it means his wonderful for you also) I’ve always done all the breeding for live cover at home myself, which means Louie has always been handled by one person, so to hear the vets say that Louie is a dream at collection time and very respectful of them and responsive to any direction given, that he was easy to collect! Well that just made my day

11.01.2022 Riley baby I am loving watching this absolute dude develop! So excited to have this guy for the rest of his life

09.01.2022 My gorgeous little pocket rocket Spirit is home missed my baby girl

08.01.2022 We would like to congratulate Mallies owners on the first confirmed pregnancy for 2020, moving away from Live cover and over to AI. First cycle, first insemination and we have a pregnancy! We’re very excited to be able to share this journey with the mare owners, as they already have a purebred gypsy cob gelding from us.(which of course means we’re friends for life now) It’s so nice to be able to follow the journey taken by all horse owners and watch the love and joy both human and horses give each other. Looking forward to 2021 expectantly

07.01.2022 Those fresh bath feels

07.01.2022 Here’s a journey to follow Some of you may know I bought spirit and she was purchased sight unseen with the estimated mature height at 13.3hh She’s currently 12.2hh @almost 6 years old... so that would be okay if her back was long enough for a saddle at 16.5 which is my saddle size.. Unfortunately after multiple saddle fit assessments it was decided that 13.5 wide was the biggest saddle I could hope to fit her with.... So I love this little horse, many breeders have approached me to purchase her and I’ve never been able to do it, she’s got the most beautiful personality and it’s not her fault I bought her thinking she was going to be my future ridden horse, Spirit is also my first gypsy I brought into my life. Louie is a big dude, too big to put over live cover on a mare like spirit, but he also is a awesome horse with the best nature... So we decided to join them via embryo transfer I’m not allowing myself to get excited until the recipient mare has reached 45days but she’s sitting at 18days and all is looking goood so far. I’ll keep you all updated as I start to allow myself to get excited about this future keeper foal

03.01.2022 Good morning followers Just a quick message here to let everyone know that we at Evale will no longer be accepting live cover and outside mares to our property moving into the rest of the breeding season and effective of 2021. If you’ve booked a mare in to be bred live cover this year, don’t worry we will honour the 2020 breeding season. Louie is trained for AI and available at Murray Equine in Pinjarra for all fresh, chilled and frozen collection and shipping and I have t...hose estimatesd costs available. The vets are fabulous there and are able to do a great breeding package for those interested, you get a lot for your money. I can forward on Murray equines 20/21 breeding package to anyone interested in breeding to Louie via AI. This decision was always coming but we were going to make it effective 2021 breeding season. Unfortunately it’s just too hard with our preferred vet 3 1/2 hours away, if louie is up there for collection, and your mare comes into season but his needed for collection there, he just can’t be in two places at once and we want to give all our mare owners our best, which isn’t possible in this situation. The plan for Louie has been to keep him as a long term performance horse, we have a high priority on his long term soundness and we were gravitating towards AI for years now, so that we could limit the weight and pressure on his joints, particularly his hind hock joints and hips as that take a lot of action during breed season. We also want to have a place Louie is bred from and I don’t want that to be at home, as in breeding season we feel it’s not fair on him to be unsure of what his doing that day. I love my horse, Louie is my absolute heart horse and I want the 100% best for him at all times. We will be gelding Louie in the future, I’d say once we have enough frozen semen collected and we’re happy, but the future for Louie has always been to be a gelding. I hope everyone has a fantastic day And something wonderful happens for you all, even if it’s just seeing the sunset or having a really good cup of coffee.
