09.01.2022 Hello July. What a way to start the month. Temps in the minus but beautiful blue skys to help keep us positive. The bulbs in the gardens are searching for some warmth too. Winter wonderland in Tassie.

05.01.2022 Evandale Anzac service 6am at Cenotaph followed by breakfast. Main parade starts 10.40am at gate Evandale Cenotaph. Main service at 11am. Lest we forget.

05.01.2022 The details for ART exhibition as follows. The Evandale Tourist and Information Centre will be holding a Spring Art Exhibition from 20th October - 3rd November. Anne Engdahl who is acting as an advisor to this exhibition.... If you would like to exhibit this time, will you please let me know by writing to me at the above address, before 17th September. Alternatively, my email address is: [email protected] . I would like to know how many works you would like to exhibit and your chosen medium. Please do not telephone the information to the Centre. During the period of the exhibition the Tasmanian Chamber Music Festival will be held at various venues in and around Evandale. This takes place from Friday 27th Sunday 29th October. Most of the concerts are already sold out, so Evandale is expecting an influx of visitors during the weekend which will be complimented by the exhibition. Works should be delivered to the Centre between Friday 13th October and Sunday 15th October between the hours of 11.00 am and 3.00 pm. Paintings and drawings must be framed with d rings for hanging. There will be a 15% commission charged on all works sold. An opening and viewing with light refreshments will take place on Friday 20th October at 7.00 pm. You and your friends are most welcome to join us whether you choose to exhibit or not. Unsold works must be collected from the Centre on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th November between the hours of 10.00 am and 3.00 pm. If this is difficult for you, please let me know and we will arrange to store your work until it can be picked up. We are very short of storage space, so this should be a last resort.
