23.01.2022 OKAY, this will have to do. Mistakes and all, you're welcome. If you like prog rock type stuff you might like this. It's based on 4 bars of 7/8 & 1 bar of 4/4. Layers of ostinatos, motifs, riffs etc that kinda stuff. I used to write a lot like this as a teenager in the early Ro Armu Tani days. I miss it.
21.01.2022 This is a new song of mine. Too Little Too Late. It's kinda my life story. I like to work with images in my mind to help really feel what I'm hoping to put across through the music. So picture this; you're just a kid, you turn up to the bus stop and the bus is leaving without you. That bus was going from childhood into adulthood and all of your friends were on it. Sounds cooler with headphones if you have any. Here are the lyrics. ... Wait! Why are you driving away? Was I late? I think I might have been dreaming. It's okay I'll just wait. I probably wasn't ready anyway. Besides it's too late. I'll make it here on my own. Just another kid trying to get it right. Always in a dream every day and night. 14.01.2022 So when we left Mackay to travel around I convinced Scripy to get a gym membership so we could use the showers 24/7. Now she's really buff, and I'm just really clean.

Sweeping vocal melodies, real thought provoking lyrics, beautiful chords, guitar layers, odd time signatures. Recording in Jan with the goal of a release before mid 2021.

05.01.2022 Aww poor van. It's got a problem in the steering. Hien and I must have an angel looking out for us cause we drove back and forth across the Nullarbor without a hiccup, but then we hit Goulburn, NSW and it felt like the wheels were gonna fall off. An hr later the van is in a mechanic and we will have accommodation sorted thanks to me making sure I paid extra for the top RACQ cover before we started the adventure . So apart from having no gigs anymore to pay for the repairs, being locked out of QLD, our gym being temporally closed down so no work out or shower, everything is pretty good really!
03.01.2022 After travelling across the country in search of a place that feels like home, we've come to realise that it doesn't matter where we are in the country when the only time we feel at home is in our awesome little van, away from everybody else. Perhaps by the beach or river, or in a national park. The only problem with that is the constant fear of a "law enforcer" approaching us to say we're not welcome to stay there over night or we risk getting a fine. So after a few weeks o...f "what are we gonna do between now and our inevitable death?" we've decided we're gonna head back over to dear old Mackay to work and work to save like crazy to buy our own little piece of paradise somewhere and build a teeny tiny house on it. Somewhere with the fresh water, trees and animals and most importantly, not many, if any, people. It's a long term plan, but it's a plan that has got us both excited. So, from late April we'll be back in Mackay and looking for work! This is us in the jungle.
